Man Bag | Bottega Veneta Messenger and Wallet

Bottega Veneta | Messenger | View!
This Bottega Veneta (bo-tay-ga ve-ne-tah) man bag beats out any Louis Vuitton or Chrisitan Dior signature monogram man bag. Louis Vuitton has the same old monogram LV, Christian Dior is easily recognizable for their signature ‘Dior’ scribbled on their bags and Bottega Veneta is discrete with their iconic marker the handcrafted intrecciato woven leather pattern.

The average bag in the Bottega Veneta collection goes for about $3,000 a pop. The price tag for this Bottega Veneta man messenger bag is in the $2,600. Why so pricey? Bottega Veneta is known for having classic clean lines, hand woven intrecciato leather pattern, the softest nappa leather, and a classic palette rather than trend-driven designs.

Don’t forget about the matching wallet. Ohhh I love it. This little woven guy is retails for $350.

Bottega Veneta Knot Clutch | View!
1966 marks an important year for fashion house Bottega Veneta. 1966 was the year that Bottega Veneta was first introduced into the world of fashion. Place of origin, Venice. The fashion label was launched as a family business of luxury leather accessories and today designs both a men’s and women’s ready-to-wear line. Tomas Maier took over the position of creative director in 2001. He says, “My aim for Bottega is simple: To make beautiful things.” – He undoubtedly has done a splendid job of that.

The Bottega Veneta Knot Clutch has a stylish eyeglass case shape (measuremens 6″ width x 4″ height x 2″ depth) that’s just the right size to carry a few essentials combined with the iconic Bottega Veneta handcrafted intrecciato (woven) leather pattern makes this little clutch case a perfect little evening essential, and will sure to be in style still in years to come.

The Bottega Veneta Knot clutch is structure with multi-tonal anthracite / brown woven leather, which gives it a snake effect, topped off with the eye-catching knotted stamped leather clasp fastening on the top which pops open to reveal the tan leather interior.

This cute little gem retails for (*drumroll*) a whopping $1,780. If you are not a fan of the Bottega Veneta woven pattern then check out the Silver Padded Silk clutch (also available via net-a-porter). A clutch that is very similar in shape only minus the inteccatio leather pattern.

eBay Alert If looking for the best deal out there for a Bottega Veneta clutch, then check out these I spotted on eBay: Bottega Veneta black woven clutch (imo super cute!) starting bid only $100.
Bottega Veneta vintage milk-chocolate colored flat clutch, with a (too good to pass) bid starting at $10. (Even Mary-Kate Olsen has been seen recently with this one in red)
Bottega Veneta vintage clutch in tan natural leather color, with a entry bid at $15.

Celebrities and Their Handbags
Celebrity | Penelope Cruz | Bottega Veneta Knot Clutch
Bottega Veneta bags are worn by fashionista’s (and fashionister’s) who know and truly admire fashion, including celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston (bag she wore in the movie ‘Derailed’), Scarlett Johansson, Sarah Jessica Parker, and yes even Penelope Cruz. The pictured above was taken of Penelope Cruz once she arrived at Essex hotel in NYC.

Bottega Veneta | Limited Edition Small Tote | $3,850 | View!
New Glamorous Designer Item of the Week! Pricey indeed, but can you cannot say that you don’t like love this soft-multi-colored intrecciato leather small Bottega Veneta tote. This beautiful Bottega Veneta limited edition embroidery bag is decorated with silver hardware buckles on end of handles and a pale blue suede lining. I use to not be the biggest fan of embroidery detailing, but after I discovered this bag I was sold. I am craving to add this bag to add to my collection. Only problem is the price, lets see that will cost me 962 double tall sugar-free non-fat vanilla lattes! I couldn’t take a break from my coffee.

Shown here with a Burberry London dress, Lee Angel jewelry, and Bottega Veneta shoes.

Forbes Most Expensive Handbag List!
Here is the list of pricey arm candy

Fendi | B.Bag | $27,700
Hailing the return of the structured bag, this might be Fendi’s best seller since the Baguette. Although the white lambskin runway bag (pictured on the runway) was well-received, the $27,700 black crocodile version is truly coveted.

Hermes | Birkin | $20,000 +
Nearly all Hermes Birkin bags, named after English actress and ’60s fashion icon Jane Birkin, are special orders, like this red leather version. Most Birkins are upwards of $20,000, but the final price depends on skin and hardware.

Yves Saint Laurent | Muse | $18,990
Seen on the arm of everyone from Kate Moss to Jessica Simpson, the roomy yet refined Muse riffs on the traditional bowling bag. Linda Evangelista’s sage green version, pictured above at Paris Fashion Week last February, is now available in white crocodile for $18,990.

Prada | Frame Bag | $15,090
This structured crocodile bag, embossed with the signature Prada emblem, made its first appearance on the Autumn/Winter 2006 runway in Milan. It is available in the tan color shown above, known as Krusca.

Zac Posen | Alexia | $15,000
With his first line of bags, Posen has created the ultimate homage to the ’70s. This blue crocodile version oozes opulence.

Ralph Lauren | Ricky | $14,000
The latest of the exclusive bag set, Ralph Lauren’s is named for his wife and is available in silver crocodile. For the shocking orange version, you’ll have to travel to RL’s newly opened Japanese flagship.

Chloe | Paddington | $12,880
After experiencing a huge wave of popularity a couple of years back, the Paddington satchel, which features metal accoutrements, including the signature golden padlock closure, remains relevant by maintaining its exclusivity. This grey leather version was the bag du jour last autumn, and now admirers can scoop up the chocolate crocodile style for close to $13,000. Due to high demand, luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman allows customers to order no more than three every 30 days.

Gucci | Boston | $11,990 +
This medium-sized croc bag, with bamboo details and gold hardware, rings in at almost $12,000, but the larger version will set you back $13,900. It’s also available in black crocodile, patent leather and guccissima leather.

Bottega Veneta | Bambina | $7,800
Unlike powerhouses Louis Vuitton or Chanel, Bottega Veneta has no recognizable logo or trademark handbag shape. Available only at Bottega Veneta boutiques, the spring line offers quality, exclusivity and status. This soft crocodile Bambina, available in Biscotto Fume, has a suede lining and magnetic closure.

Devi Kroell | Crystal Disco Ball | $4,900
Devi Kroell, who first became well known in fashion circles for her slouchy, metallic python hobos, gives the evening bag a much-needed injection of edgy glamour by covering it in black crystals.

About Designer Bottega Veneta

Bottega Veneta
Bottega Veneta was launched as a family business of luxury leather accessories in Venice back in 1966, and today designs both a men’s and women’s ready-to-wear line.
