Purse Deal: Bottega Veneta Nutmeg Woven Purse
All good deals are not on the web. About a week ago while doing my boutique-department store hopping I managed to wander into Nordstrom’s sister store, the Rack. There, sitting on the white shelf was the Bottega Veneta Woven Shoulder Bag in the color Nutmeg (same bag pictured above) with a gigantic clearance tag that read only $500. Yeah, that’s it, but I wasn’t in-love so I had to pass. The structure and functionality of it was all there, and I love (of course) the woven intreciatto leather. But I was feeling super picky that day and kept pointing out everything I disliked, such as the color and the gold chain detailing and circular chain link buckle fastenings - just not what I was looking for. Although, I do slightly regret it now because I had no idea that the same bag was for sale on net-a-porter for $2086. Next time I will pull out my little blackberry and ask anyone in tBF if they are looking for a BV bag for only $500, haha. Oh well, a big bummer, but there are many more deals to be discovered…

Details: The nutmeg colored intreciatto leather shoulder bag is decorated with gold hardware and features chain detailing, a zip fastening on top, a pouch compartment on each side with concealed magnetic fastenings, lavender suede lining and adjustable shoulder straps with circular chain link buckle fastenings.
