Wow, this is strange. Normally I am delighted to see a new CC Skye handbag. But I’m feeling a bit perplexed right now, even conflicted. I love CC Skye and, thanks to all that chunky hardware, their handbags often remind me of their jewelry pieces. Then I saw the handbag you see pictured here and my jaw dropped to the floor. I simply could not believe that this was from CC Skye. Meet the CC Skye Tyler Hobo!
CC Skye handbags are cute and I love how the hardware resembles CC Skye jewelry. You know, chunky and with a little bit of edge. So when I saw the Red Carpet Clutch from CC Skye today, it should come as no surprise that I was really excited.
This is such a sweet little clutch. I really like the fat, box clutch styling. It gives it a more casual feel. I also love the pyramid studs clustered on the sides of the clutch. It is a familiar look, yet still a little different. And, of course, I love the black and gold combination. Just like my fellow blogger Marissa, I believe black and gold together is a must-have trend. As with most other CC Skye styles, this clutch has a little bit of edge. I think it would look great paired with your favorite rocker girl-chic look.
I love unique looking accessories, like this CC Skye Clutch. I’ll be honest, I’m kind of out there and I’m sure some people think I’m weird. I have a really outgoing personality and I think my style shows that too. I love accessories that make a statement and catch people’s eyes. No, I’m not completely out there like Lady Gaga but I definitely like to buy things that grabs people’s attention. For instance, people usually tend to buy the boring black suitcase. When you go to the airport almost everyone has a black suitcase, very few have colored luggage and slim to none have unique bags. I’m always the one that likes something unique! Just last week, I purchased the Alice + Olivia black and white suitcase from the Target + Neiman Marcus collection. I absolutely love it and I’m sure it will catch eyes when I’m traveling. It’s not everyday you see a suitcase that kind of looks like Beetlejuice helped design it. I love it though and that’s all that matters.
Being on a budget stinks, especially when you see something you really want! I’ve seen a lot of handbags and clutches I’ve liked lately, but none of them compare to the CC SKYE “Victoria” Wristlet Clutch. This clutch has my name written all over it and I want it badly. I remember when I was in 9th Grade the biggest craze was messenger bags. Literally every girl, out of the 200 of us, had a messenger bag. It was odd to see someone actually hauling around their books in a book bag. The boys used book bags, the girls used messenger bags that’s just the way it was. My aunt had taken me to Macy’s and let me pick one out. I picked out one by Guess? and it was $32. In reality, hardly any of my books fit in it but boy did I feel stylish. I think 2 books fit inside it and I had to carry the rest in my arms.

But I stumbled across a new CC Skye handbag that I think will become a very close second! Introducing the CC Skye Lady Bag!
Just like its name implies, this bag is very lady-like. The simple name is complemented by a simple trapezoid shape, which starts larger at the bottom and tapers up toward the top. I love the flap front and classic “mademoiselle”- like twist lock closure. I also like the croc-embossing adorning the flap, which adds an little extra hint of luxe to this style without taking over the entire bag.
