The latest from the Designer House of Celine for spring 2008 comes the Bittersweet Bag painted with a Vallauris (France) Sulky graphic print. Since 1967 Celine has used the “Sulkyâ€? as the signature emblem –a very lightweight horse drawn two wheeled cart– which has made it onto being the focal image of this bag, in the setting of Vallauris France. (Random fact: prior to 1967 their signature was a red elephant).

The Celine Vallauris Sulky Bittersweet version above is created of light beige leather and retails for approximately $1,185, however for a couple grand more you can get the real exotic version in white python.

I think it’s a beautiful bag, it’s just not something I would wear.
