Britney Spears loves her Replica Chanel Purse
It was only a matter of time before ex-pop star Britney Spears was added to the pool of celebrities who wear fake designer handbags. Joining the list with tennis pro Anna Kournikova who sports a fake Louis Vuitton Multicolore Speedy, reality t.v. star Nicole Richie who owns a few fake Balenciaga’s, American actress Michelle Trachtenberg who totes a replica Chloe Paddington Satchel, and now Britney Spears with her white-ish-pink bag that’s suppose to be “Chanel.�
I didn’t realize how much she has let herself go until I discovered this picture of her leaving Italian restaurant Cravings last night in West Hollywood with this dreadful piece of replica-crap on her arm.
Nay Britney, nay.

Good lord she really has hit rock bottom. Also I think that bag is a mix between Gucci (the symbol looks slightly), Chanel (the pattern), and LV (the straps). LOL. This is sad.
Am I the only one who doesn’t feel there is anything wrong with carrying a fake bag. Not everyone can afford these luxuries.
Drew- chances are that if you are on here then you are the only one who thinks there is nothing wrong with purchasing fakes. Everyone on here loves designer handbags, not fakes. They are illegal and hurt the creativity of designers work.
If you cant afford the real deal then shop at walmart, they have tons of “inspired-by” bags which are LEGAL to purchase.
So basically she could have purchased that bag from a legit place and therefor nothing would be wrong with this situation.
The bag above is a Fake-Replica, what ever you want to call it. Notice the hardware, it’s obviously imitating the houses signature.

What happened to her, she has really fallen apart. I feel bad for her. There is no way she can fix her career.
I saw this photo last week and enlarged the pic to make sure I was right. That bag was screaming at me “FAKE”-it did look like a really, really bad Chanel knockoff. They couldn’t even get the logo right.
It must be bad for Brit if the designers aren’t giving her any free goodies anymore!

But this bag is looking very cute, smart and shiny elegant. Exept of its bad origin, of course, the look is noway criminal!
ladies, as ugly as the bag may look, it is not an “illegal replica” per se if it doesn’t infringe on the intellectual property rights of Chanel. If, for example, the logo is really a double ‘O’ instead of a double ‘C’ (which we can’t tell for sure from the photo posted), and there is no ‘CHANEL’ tags, zippers, lining etc in or attached to the bag, there is a strong case that this bag is considered designer inspired, hence legal. Disgusting looking, but legal.

yeah really. although, like most celebs she could have received it as a gift. but then again its brit, so who knows
that is true... celebs do get alot of goodies for free and most of them dont know how to spot a fake bag. I doubt they spend hours on their computers learning about the difference like us ^_^ Also it useto be so easy to spot a fake now its sad how hard it is in a lot of cases.
