I’m definitely into the whole zodiac and horoscope thing. In fact, I follow it pretty religiously and I have an app on my phone about it. I’m a Leo and I’m so proud to be a Leo. We really are eccentric beings and we love being different. I mean, two of the most famous Leo’s are Jennifer Lopez and Madonna. My birthday is August 6th and it’s funny to know that one of my favorite comedic actresses, Lucille Ball, shared the same birthday as me.

Who doesn’t love Hollywood glam? And for that matter, who doesn’t love movies? Nothing captures the imagination like the big screen! Well, it seems Charlotte Olympia couldn’t agree more with that statement. Her line has always been inspired by a bygone era of old Hollywood glamour. But her latest collection has taken this inspiration one step further. Hollywood glitz and glamour has suddenly taken on a more literal sense. Check out the Charlotte Olympia Box Office Pandora Perspex Clutch, for example. I think you will see what I mean!
This lovely clutch has the classic Pandora styling. There are two hinged halves that fasten together on top. Inside you will find the usual detachable zippered pouch. What makes this particular style so interesting is the design on the exterior. The clear perspex features a gold-tone metal adornment that resembles the outline of a film strip. I don’t think you can get anymore literal than that!
The look is certainly different and it would make a great conversation piece. I don’t think you necessarily need a Red Carpet-ready ensemble either. A simple little black dress would pair quite nicely with this piece. It would provide an excellent showcase, emphasizing and calling attention to the gold-tone film strip.

I have developed a fondness for Charlotte Olympia lately. Why? Well, that is a very good question. But it’s also a difficult one to answer. To be honest, I’m not really sure what the allure is. For some reason, I just feel drawn to these unusual pieces. Perhaps it’s simply because I like to see something new. Let’s face it, Charlotte Olympia’s designs are not something you see every day. Plus I’m excited because this latest season was inspired by the city of love — Paris! However, these pieces aren’t inspired by what I would call your typical Paris icons. Take a look at the Charlotte Olympia Perfume Perspex Clutch and you will see what I mean.

When I first saw this clutch the first thing that blurted out of my mouth was, “ohhh this looks like a Croissant.” Not to be mean of course, that’s what this clutch looks like to me. Then I read the description and saw that this bag was in fact made to replicate this famous French crescent-shaped breakfast puff pastry, in gold form. I personally think this clutch is delicious gorgeous and worth taking a double glance.

I have taken a liking to Charlotte Olympia lately. I will see one piece from this designer and write about it, only to turn around and see another equally blog-worthy piece. I am not sure what it is that draws me in. I suppose I just like the quirkiness of these pieces. They are unusual and something different to write about. So it comes as no surprise that I have stumbled upon yet another piece from this designer and instantly fell in love. Introducing the Charlotte Olympia Pandora Paradise Cage Clutch!

I’m a girly girl but I also like things that are a tad different from the norm. I tend to not follow trends but if I absolutely love a trend I wait until it’s not popular anymore to I can take part in it. I’ve never been one to follow the crowd or wear what everyone else is wearing. What fun is that? So we can all look like identical robots? I’m not a fan of any of that but I do like buying things that make a statement. I love wearing things that not very many people have or can buy. Whenever I go out, I get complimented on at least one thing on me. Being different is fun. Just look at how much fun Lady Gaga is having. Yes, her music is good but her eye catching fashion always makes the news first.

With the holidays fast approaching, there are a ton of festive clutches floating around on Bag Bliss. They are always such fun to look at and admire. What I like most about holiday clutches is that they can be anything you want. Serious and sophisticated? Sure! Wacky and fun? Why not? And speaking of wacky and fun, the clutch I have pictured here certainly takes the cake. Introducing the Charlotte Olympia Christmas Pudding Clutch!

I am a sucker for animal motifs. I am not exactly sure why, but I suppose it has something to do with my love of animals. I have a variety of items, from cardigans to jewelry, that feature an animal motif. They are sort of addicting in a way. They are just so cute though, so how could you blame me? However, there is one thing missing from my collection. I do not own an animal motif handbag. I know it sounds crazy, but I have been seriously looking for just the right piece. That’s why I had to stop and take a little longer look when I came across this lovely clutch you see pictured here. Introducing the Charlotte Olympia Toucan Clutch!

I love unique fashion. When everyone follows one trend, I usually go in the complete opposite direction. I love the wear/carry things that are different from the norm and are eye catching. I’m not like Lady Gaga but I definitely like pushing the envelope when it comes to fashion. As I’ve stated time and time again, evening clutches are my favorite accessory. They’re elegant and can really complete an outfit. Alexander McQueen has the most beautiful clutches ever and I can’t wait to own one, one day! However, while browsing around Neiman Marcus I found a clutch that I believe is pretty neat. The Charlotte Olympia “Pandora” Clutch.
