Katy Perry is all smiles on this rainy day in Los Angeles. Don’t worry though, at least she had her trusty umbrella handy to keep her stylish look from getting drenched. And what an outfit it is! The newly engaged singer appears to have given the gold with black look her own personal spin. She paired her black, geometric print dress with black tights and black ankle boots. And to help bring out the gold accents in her dress, Katy choose to carry her Chloe Paddington Satchel in Gold. What I like about her handbag is that it is metallic and it is gold, but it isn’t screaming at you. The gold is somewhat muted and the leather appears polished rather than shiny. Now when it comes to metallics, gold would probably not be my number one choice. But I could totally see myself wearing a gold like this, it’s just so pretty. And the Chloe Paddington Satchel is such a classic and well-known style. Even in a shade like this, the bag would still be a timeless piece.

I’ve always had an obsession for exotic leathers especially when they are featured on handbags. Exotic leathers can always make a handbag look more unique, as well as gorgeous. The plaid-clad Mary Kate Olsen was recently spotted with the Chloe Paraty bag!
I really do adore her bag, but I’m so not a fan of her plaid dress – it’s too early 90′s Seattle grunge scene for me.

When it comes to going to class, I like to carry as little as possible. I’m definitely one of these college girls that loves to dress up to class and look as stylish as possible. I must always wear heels, and have a designer handbag in tow. What I hate carrying around is books and notebooks for class. I’m always throwing them in some sort of small tote, that doesn’t kill my outfit. As of right now, I’m sporting around a “Sex & the City” tote that says “I’m not afraid of heights, have you seen my heels?” That compliments me well since all I wear is heels, but I’ve been searching for more of a designer tote to lug around my school things in, and I think I may have found one.

How ironic is it that the brand is called “See by Chloé” and you have a pair of eyes on a bag staring at you. The tote is different, and is a stylish way to carry around any sort of school or work supply. It even has a cute matching button near the shoulder straps, which is another set of eyes staring at you.

I think wristlet’s are perfect for when you are on the go, in a rush, or just simply don’t want to carry much. My all time favorite wrislet has always been the Louis Vuitton “Wapity Case” but spending $315 for something so small can seem impractical. I mean face it, for less than $400 more you can get a Louis Vuitton Speedy, so why pay so much for something that can’t hold much. Never fear though, there are many designers out there that make much more affordable wristlet’s.
One of my favorite wristlet’s at the moment is the See by Chloé “Zip File” Zip Around Pouch. It’s really cute, comes in three stylish colors, and the price is great. Obviously, if you love carrying around a ton of stuff with you all day long a wristlet wouldn’t work for you. If you are someone that doesn’t like to carry much, or you just want a simple little bag to go to the grocery store, or perhaps get some gas in it’s perfect!
I’m loving the pouch in “Peppermint.” The color is so vibrant, and if I’m carrying around something that is so small I’d like it to stick out in the crowd, or at least be colorful. I could totally see myself using this when I’m making quick runs around town.

I’ve never been one for any shade of the color orange. I personally only have one item in my closet that is orange, and it was a gift. When I came across the, “Chloé Heloise Large Tote” I realized that a beautiful bag can make any “orange-ish” like color look great.
I really think color plays out a huge part in this handbag. The color, brick, is so rich that it really blends well with the gold hardware featured on the handbag. Together the color and hardware make this handbag look stunning and unique.
Personally, I would love it if this handbag came in black. I wear a lot of black, and it’s so much easier to match a handbag with my outfit if it’s either black or has a lot of colors featured on it.
In my opinion, this handbag can be worn day or night. The color is so vibrant, that whatever you choose to wear it with, is going to be hidden by the bag. In other words, all eyes will be on the bag when you walk in a room not your outfit.
If you live in a state that has Summer-like weather all year round, this would be the perfect handbag to add to any collection.
