See by Chloe launches a Bag Line
See by Chloe, the less-expensive line targeted to those who crave a more youthful and casual look, than the house’s main line, is getting ready for a new addition – an accessory line.
WWD reports – The line will be distinctive for its graphic plays on the See by Chloé logo and quirky fabric and color combinations, with a strong focus on fabrics rather than only leather.
Styles from the eclectic line include shoulder bags that echo sports bags from the Seventies and glittery, soft clutches, as well as a range of vibrant, logo-splashed cotton canvas shoppers. Certain styles feature detachable straps, and highlights from the small leather goods include a dinky mouse purse and animal key chains.
Prices range from around $300 to $470 at retail for fabric bags to $500 to $700 for leather styles. Small leather goods sell for $40 to $120.

From the picture above, I would have to say nay. The top handle looks so weird and out of place.

I agree with the previous commenters that I’m not a fan of the bag shown since I don’t like the name to be splashed across the front, but I’m going to hold out hope that there will be some other designs that I can get more on board with!
I love me some Chloe but that big ‘ole “SEE BY CHLOE” stamp on the outside & on the strap looks way off – somethin about it is just not right.
Can we say…Helloooooo Canal Street! It screams ‘replica’ to me. It’s way too blatant and the heavy block font? Uh- not so much buddy. Sorry, I’m just not feelin it. Now it’s not pictured here but the lining has a crazy cool rainbow colored 70s font. Turn that into a canvas tote and you’ve got a winner reachin for my wallet! ;)
