Every season Christian Louboutin comes out with drop dead gorgeous shoes but the designer also has some beautiful handbags as well. At the moment, my favorite handbag by Christian Louboutin is the Piercing Softy Hobo and it is stunning from from shoulder strap to base!

Colorful purses are very “in” at the moment and the Christian Louboutin Piercing Softy Hobo fits in very well. The handbag comes in black but it also comes in makeup. “Makeup” is similar it a light “orangish” color and its beautiful.

The handbag has a multi-strap handle and also a top zip closure. Some other features of the handbag include: chain and charm accents; interior pockets; and bright silk lining.

Being that the handbag is by Christian Louboutin and is made in Italy, that price comes as no surprise. The handbag currently retails for $1,895, and I admit I believe that to be too much for this handbag.

The Christian Louboutin Piercing Softy Hobo is available at Saks Fifth Avenue, and I hate to say it but I’m sure it is not going anywhere anytime soon. Gorgeous handbag, and if you have the extra few bucks laying around it would look lovely in any collection.

Christian Louboutin has always been known for his gorgeous red bottom heels, but people rarely ever talk about Christian Louboutin handbags. Perhaps it’s because the heels are absolutely stunning from every angle, that they over shadow the handbags. Just like the heels though the handbags come with a big price tag. One of the Christian Louboutin handbags I think is unique, but also on the outrageous side, is the Loubette Small Leather Shoulder Bag. Ironically, the most gorgeous part of this handbag is the lady heel snap closure. It’s not rare to see a snap closure on a handbag but it is rare to see a snap closure in the shape of heels. A snap closure in the shape of a pair of heels does accent a handbag very well especially when it’s by one of the most popular shoe designers’ in the world. The Christian Louboutin Loubette Shoulder Bag does come in leather and conviently has two exterior zip pockets on the front to fit any extra goodies you may have. Another thing that I think is so amazing about this handbag is how the straps can be worn two ways. This handbag can either be worn with the long shoulder strap, or the shoulder strap can be placed around the handbag and be worn as a satchel. Either way you choose to wear the handbag it will look stunning from strap to base.

The Christian Louboutin Loubette Small Leather Shoulder Bag comes in both black and pink. I personally am in love with the handbag in pink but the black is equally just as fabulous. The only problem with this handbag is the overly high price. The Christian Louboutin Loubette Small Leather Shoulder Bag has a price tag $1,650. Scary price, but oh so cute handbag.

Christian Louboutin Loubounight Laminato Clutch
Typically Christian Louboutin is known for his shoe designs. Oh boy, does he know how to design shoes! Those trademark red leather soles make his line unmistakable. So what happens when Christian Louboutin designs a handbag? He’s been doing it for quite some time now, but I have to be honest, I don’t think his handbag designs have quite the same “kick” as his shoe designs do. Let’s take a look at the Loubounight Laminato Clutch I have pictured above, for example. Its a whimsical little evening bag made of gorgeous nappa leather. Its even topped with his signature clasp which is shaped like a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes (complete with red soles). I like the ruched body of this bag and the gorgeous red lining. I even like the color pictured here, which is called Pewter. And yet, something seems to be missing from this bag. Is the design too simple? Does it need some sort of adornment? I really can’t seem to place my finger on it. I guess for now, it will just have to be cute enough just the way it is. What do you all think?

Christian Louboutin Loubinette Pouch Purse
Craving a bright color, preferably in a fun, girly shade? Look no further, I found the perfect in-your-face shade of raspberry pink! Christian Louboutin, as we all know, is a well-recognized designer known for their craftsmanship of extremely luxurious shoes. Personally, I believe Louboutin’s designs in shoes are grand, but I do not feel that same vibe in reference to their handbags. Take for example this girly accessory. I feel that Louboutin’s Loubinette pouch is totally ghetto Barbie’s evening bag. I just can’t seem to justify the girly color sitting on satin as, something that I would wear. The gold chunky chains just don’t cut it for me either. There’s something about this piece that just doesn’t do it for me. Maybe it’s the fact that this accessory is literally a small pouch, since I tend to use larger bags. Or maybe, such a color should remain on party dresses, nail polish, and on the May issue of my Cosmopolitan Magazine. One thing for sure is, that Louboutin themselves, would like to remind the consumer of their Loubinette pouch, that that they most popularly manufacture shoes, rather than bags. How are they sending out this message? By applying a decorative “Louboutin Heels�? clasp, of course. The Loubinette Pouch comes with a price tag of $1,195. For a price like that, I seriously think that I would much rather own a hot pair of Louboutin heels!

Christian Louboutin Fred Duffle Bag
Blue is definitely hot this season and the new canvas Fred Duffle Bag by Christian Louboutin is neatly trimmed with gorgeous bright blue leather. This new piece by CL is definitely not your average canvas bag as the exterior stud detail, uncommon style of zippered pockets and convertibility add an awesome twist on a known, simpler classic. And what’s also great about this duffle is the inspiration of the red lined interior from the famous underlying red trademark seen on his shoes. Since this bag reminds me of summer, especially with the vivid blue leather and classic canvas combo, I could see this as the perfect bag for upcoming boating that I’ll do.

The new duffle by CL is convertible and features two leather top handles with a 5″ drop length, and an adjustable shoulder strap with a strap drop length that elongates up to 14.5″. The handles can be used when the top is pushed down in more of a handbag style, while the strap can easily and comfortably be worn over the shoulder like a tote. The interior has red nylon lining, two zip pockets, and a special holder for your cell. And the size is 15″x12″x7″, which I think is perfect for a day bag. Though I think I might have to wait to see if this goes on sale because $1,495 is a little out of my price budget for a canvas bag.
