So Coachella starts in a couple weeks, right? I’m sure all of you who plan on going have your outfits and accessories planned out by now, but did you know Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent designed a bag especially for the music and art event? It’s called (obviously) the ‘Coachella.‘ A natural chocolate leather pouch (perfect size for the essentials) with cross body strap. Even if you aren’t planning on attending Coachella, this is one hot summer bag.

Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent is described as feminine, hip, and confident. When people hear the name, they probably think of the clothing line. Comfortable and sexy, her clothing pieces (I love her dresses!) are every girl’s dream. But handbags… yes, she does handbags as well. What an odd mix they can be too! She has everything from bright prints to neutral colorblocking. Speaking of colorblocking, I want you to take a look at this satchel I came across today. Introducing the Cynthia Vincent Dunnaway Colorblock Satchel!

One of my favorite shows in the world that I miss dearly is, Sex and the City. Every episode our eyes were flooded with fashion. I remember, I always loved Carrie Bradshaw’s clutches. She carried all kinds of handbags but she was mostly a clutch type of gal. Let’s also not forget that her clutch was always accompanied by a pair of gorgeous Manolo Blahnik’s. We’ll save the shoe talk for later though.

This might sound a little strange, but when I go hiking I like to carry with me a shopping tote. I just hate backpacks. So when we went on vacation last summer, I took a big floppy shopping tote with me for the mountain trails instead of a backpack. It was actually quite comfortable, but I didn’t have much more in it than a camera and some snacks. As you might have guessed, I have become quite partial to shopping totes now. I love looking at them everywhere I go! That’s why I am loving the Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Printed Shopper Tote!

When I first saw the stock photo of the Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent “Classic” Pouch I instantly thought of spiders. Stock photos are always small until you click on them to get more detail. By looking at it, I had thought this pouch was covered in blue spider webs. Therefore I was intrigued and needed a closer look.
Once I clicked on the picture, I saw that the design looked more like flowers or trees. Not what I was expecting but I have to admit it still caught my eye. I’m addicted to clutches and pouches these days and the pattern on this one kind of resembles art.
It’s definitely a pouch I would use on a daily basis if I had the right outfit to match. However, this is not a pouch I would use as an evening clutch. It’s not dressy enough and has more of a casual look to it. Being that’s it’s blue it would look amazing if it was paired up with an outfit that also incorporated blue.
Only problem with pouches is that you can’t fit much in them and if you put too much in them they become bulky. Another tidbit, about them is that they have to be held or pretty much placed under your arm pit as you carry it around. Some people tend to lose their pouches sometime because they aren’t use to have to carry something around all day long. I happen to love pouches, took me sometime to get use to them but they are very handy on those days you just don’t want to carry much!

The term “Stay At Home Mom” is such a misnomer. No matter what age my children are, I am never home for too long. Whether it’s school, appointments, grocery shopping, kids activities or just trying to squeeze in a little me time, a mom is always on the go. She always has to be prepared for what’s needed too. When my children were little, it was spare diapers & wipes and a change of clothing. Now that they are older, I don’t need as many extras, but a big bag always comes in handy.
Personally, I think the perfect bag for a Stay At Home Mome has to be large, versatile and well-made. She’s busy and doesn’t have alot of time to change out bags, so they must go with everything. It needs to be large so that she can hold the necessities and then some. And it should be well-made so that it resists spills, dirty hands and anything else live throws at it! So, I spent some time over at Shopbop and came up with some fabulous items!
The quilted nylon Tory Burch Jaden Tote is sophisticated, roomy and sturdy. With rolled, double-handles for comfort, they are long enough for shoulder wear. A very roomy interior with side pockets will hold tons of stuff. It’s available in black and dry orange for $350. Although, items tend to get a little lost sometimes, that problem can be resolved by zip pouched accessories like the darling striped Rebecca Minkoff pouch set for $95.

I’m square. I’m suede. I’m covered in an array of little studs. What am I? I’m the Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Studded Pouch, of course! Okay, okay, enough with the road trip games (although, I must admit, it was kind of fun)! I want all of you ladies out there in Bag Bliss Land to check out this adorable little pouch that I happened upon today.
The Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Studded Pouch is just cute, cute, cute! I really love the assorted studs adorning the front side of the pouch. The mixture of squares and circles in both silver and gold creates such a fun and unique look. Plus this cute little pouch comes in 3 different earthy colors, which happen to look extra rich in suede.
