It’s yellow and slightly mellow! Diane von Furstenberg always carries out neat pieces that make fashionable and perfect casual wear. One of the latest arrivals to the Furstenberg collection is the Printed Kaya Tote, a nicely sized and patterned tote bag that arrives beach or poolside ready.
One of my favorite accessories is a clutch, which is odd considering when I carry a satchel I load it up with practically my whole entire top of my dresser. To me, clutches are simple. You can’t carry much in them and they keep you incredibly organized.
While doing my yearly holiday shopping I came across the Diane von Furstenberg “Zip Around Python Wallet” and instantly fell in love.
The exterior is made of python-embossed cowhide leather, that’s right, no adorable little snakes were hurt in the process. But what really first caught my eye is the gorgeous turquoise green color called “Reef” – it’s the same color as my Essie “Turquoise & Caicos” manicure. The color is so pretty!
It’s that time of the season when all of our favorite boutiques slash prices to make room for the new season. And hey, I’m not complaining one bit, and you wont either once you see all the gorgeous bags, shoes, clothing and accessories in the sale section. Gotta love those deals!

I’ve known about Diane von Furstenberg for quite some time now. I didn’t fall in love with her designs until I discovered her luggage collection. I’ll be honest I found her luggage sets at discount stores but I was in awe of how beautiful they were! I literally bought a $350+ bag for $70! Not to shabby, especially for the quality. I still have the carry on bag today and it still looks brand new!
Another love of mine is Ms. Furstenberg’s handbags and clothes. Anything designed by this amazing fashion house always screams elegance, sophistication and beauty. When I came across the “Sporty Drew” Satchel my mouth dropped. It was another stunning design by Diane von Furstenberg and I love it. Ironically, I read this morning that “Tango Tangerine” was going to be the “it” color next year. Then I stumbled upon the “Sporty Drew” which is available in a color that is almost identical to the new “it” color. Coincidence? I think not!
When I first glanced at the Diane von Furstenberg Harri Jewel-Embellished Box Clutch, I was a little confused as to what I was looking at. From a distance, the randomly placed embellishments almost make this piece look like a vintage suitcase covered in stickers from all over the world. But upon closer inspection, I realized that those “stickers” aren’t stickers at all. That isn’t to say they aren’t “vintage” though! Those colorful embellishments are actually pretty jewels in all shapes and sizes. When you look at them against the black suede background, it almost looks like you’re peering into your grandma’s jewelry box filled with brooches!
Do young women crochet anymore? We primarily associate it with doily making, scarves, mittens and the overly challenging idea of making a sweater. There is even the odd star-spangled handbag that appears on the arm of one’s grandmother. But, on a fashionable chic woman who emulates boho … perhaps. How about a urban professional or soccer mom with style? Absolutely! With the Diane Von Furstenberg Kaitlyn Woven Shoulder Bag, crochet is hip and fashion forward.
One of my favorite designers at the moment is Diane von Furstenberg. Anything she designs exudes luxury, fashion and sophistication. Some designers are trendy, some are edgy, some are iconic but I would classify DVF as classy. If I dress up or am attending a special occasion I want to carry a DVF bag. No matter if it’s day or night her bags, clothes and accessories are synonymous with classy, high fashion style.
Diane von Furstenberg is not just famous for creating beautiful dresses, including the iconic wrap style, she has an eye for amazing prints. The Tribal Harper Bag is a fine example of this translated to a handbag. And who can ignore this beautiful shade of blue on the same bag? Pattern and bold colors are hot this season and you can take your pick to suit your style in this stunning bag.
