Typically, I am not a fan of color-blocking. Sometimes it’s just too retro. Others, too bold to wear with any frequency, but the Diane von Furstenberg Laragh Hobo is something special. Diane again proves she is the queen of prints.
This bag is reminiscent of the Op Art of the 60s and 70s but maintains a modern feel that makes it current. It’s clean, geometric design is perfect for today’s minimalist styles. From daywear to beach, there are so many opportunities to make a statement with this bag. The pattern of the bag is a perfect compliment to the overall shape.

I have always loved the look of python but been a little too nervous to buy it because I’m worried about how it will wear. I know others might like it too and don’t take the plunge either for that reason or because they have an aversion to carrying an exotic skin. Well, those fears can be put aside for this beautiful bag!
I disregard the fact that we’re in the middle of December, as right now in my neck of the woods, it’s warm and breezy. I feel for those caught in winters colds, just don’t get discouraged yet, as soon it’ll all be over.
The designs over at Diane von Furstenberg are screaming Cruise getaway, with the most flattering colors you could possibly think of. As I spotted the Judy Floral Canvas Beach Totes, I haven’t stopped eyeing them as I’m still trying to decide which one is my favorite. Perhaps the colorful beach tote isn’t the best look to be sporting around right about now, but you can never go wrong by preparing yourself in advance, for the warmer climates ahead.
I realize that we haven’t even gotten past Christmas yet, but it’s never too early to think about Spring (at least for me anyway)! And what better way to think about Spring than a nice Spring-y color on a handbag? Let’s see, what would be a good color? Ah yes, Lime Green! It’s the perfect color for putting a little spring in your step! But don’t worry about looking out-of-season in the middle of Winter. As my fellow TBFer Jess pointed out, Lime Green is the hot color for Christmas this year as well. It looks so fresh in that classic red-green combo! And it will look just as fresh with your Winter wardrobe and carry you all the way into Spring! So give Lime Green a chance, you will find that it looks stunning on a handbag! I recently just bought myself a Mac Book Pro and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect case/sleeve for it. I’m extremely picky so whatever I pick either had to be pretty or fashionable. When I laid my eyes on the Diane von Furstenberg “Mariella” Laptop case I was instantly sold. I’m usually not a colorful person, but I must say that I’m absolutely in love with this case and I need it!
Yes, I admit that it does look like any normal laptop case. To some it maybe nothing special but to me it’s gorgeous. The colors go amazing together and I can just envision an Apple laptop being taken out of it. I mean face it, I would consider an Apple laptop more of a high fashion computer. You can get a PC less than $500 these days, whereas an Apple will set you back more than a $1000. So why not have a gorgeous case to go with you beautiful Apple?
I have to say I’ve never been a big fan of the fur handbag or even fur charms to attached to a handbag. I’ve watched a myriad of styles emerge from wide range of designers and nothing really spoke to me as something I would potentially own. It’s either too impractical, over-the-top or uber-expensive. On the other hand, I’ve been lusting after a Stephanie Diane Von Furstenberg handbag for some time and have been dying to get my hands on one for trial run. So, it’s no surprise the Stephanie Mink Clutch has caught my eye.
True to the Stephanie design, the Mink Clutch features a multi-colored woven exterior. Rich and lovely shades of honey browns, biege, blues and even a splash of purple work beautifully together in a surprising use of farm-raised mink. It has the feel of bohemian chic in a way that you could wear with denim or a great monochromatic ensemble.
It’s about that time of year again! Yes, I’m talking about Fall! And that means it’s time for all those animal prints to come out of the closet! What was once called a “trend” is now becoming a classic wardrobe essential for those months when the leaves begin to fall. Why? I think the reason this look keeps cropping up year after year is because it makes you feel kind of warm and fuzzy. And that’s just the feeling you want when the temperatures outside begin to drop. This look can also be a lot of fun, even a little bit quirky. But please ladies! If you decide to do the animal print thing this Fall… be sure to do it right! Just one piece, like a structured handbag, is all you need! There really is no need to pile it on!
