The last couple days have been extremely nice out here in the Emerald City, which is tremendously rare but welcome anytime. With the weather change I have come to a realization that it is time to trade in the white and black evening bags for something more fun and vibrant. The Prince of Prints: Emilio Pucci Online at eLUXURY
Check out the newbies to hit the sale section over at eluxury. In that section you can find the Amelie, Cupola, Hawa, Festa prints (some avail in different hues) in almost any style – from cosmetic cases to a large travel tote sized bag.

Left: What is this bag doing in the sale section?! When I think Pucci bags I think vibrant bright-colored bold-print bags, ideal for the summer even spring season. However this bag, decorated in a bold pattern is available in a darker color combo (not so spring / summer-ie). The black and grey Amelie-Print east – west shaped canvas tote, regularly priced $475 and on sale for $329. I adore!

Right: Similar to the bag on the left only in different colors, the Amelie Satin Flap bag retails for $690 but is currently on sale for $490.

Even though I like its sister (on the left) I’m not to impressed with this style or hardware. . . not liking the sun-like twist-lock closure or the grey metal clasp and tassel charm.

Emilio Pucci Scarves – Oh La La! My weakness when it comes to Emilio Pucci, the elaborate decorative scarves.

Left: The Festa silk twill scarf measures in at about 36″ x 36″ and is marked down to $156 (if you live in Seattle go to Downtown Nordstrom Rack, there are two in stock for only $99) If you like this print but are looking for something smaller, they also have the Festa Cotton Handkerchief on sale for only $30.

Right: Simple. The Pucci silk muffler scarf is decorated along the border with a thin strip of the unmistakable Quadrifoglio Pucci print. Measurements are 67″ x 14″.

Emilio Pucci | 60TH Anniversary | View!
WWD Reports – Pucci will celebrate its 60th anniversary next year with the launch in February of a limited-edition collection of four iconic designs from the company’s archives that were personal favorites of Emilio Pucci.

“There is such a strong interest for vintage, so we thought, Why shouldn’t we remake some of our original pieces ourselves?” said Laudomia Pucci, image director for the brand and daughter of the designer. “There is a great momentum with the new collections designed by Matthew Williamson, but we also wanted to underscore the roots of the brand and to wholly re-create the spirit of those times.”

The four pieces, originally designed in the mid-Sixties, will be launched for spring and will be labeled Collectibles: a silk jersey long-sleeved dress, a cotton shantung shirtdress, a silk jersey romper and a silk twill handbag in the shape of a jewelry box. Prices range from $1,700 for the handbag to $2,200 for the Bubbles dress.

Pucci, which is now owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, will produce from 200 to 300 units of each piece, marked with a special “Emilio Pucci – Florence, Italy” tag. In a nod to the Pucci atelier tradition, the labels will be color-coordinated depending on the fabric: green lettering for silk items, blue for cotton items. “We’ve called back old seamstresses to use the same original techniques my father employed,” explained Pucci, noting how each piece is identical to its archive original. Case in point: The prints are placed on each piece so the pattern seamlessly covers the whole garment. – Luisa Zargani at wwd
