The charitable company FEED Projects and the non-profit organization FEED foundation have been working together for over three years. Their goal? To feed the world and improve the global food system. It wasn’t until recently, however, that they decided to tackle a growing problem here in the United States — childhood hunger. With it, they are encountering a whole new set of challenges such as access to nutritional foods and teaching children how to make healthier choices. To aid them in their mission, they are engaging school food providers and teachers to improve school food and nutrition education one school at a time.

The 60th anniversary of the FEED Trick-or-Treat bag to benefit UNICEF will be available exclusively at hsn.com beginning September 14th.
Not only will you be Halloween tote ready for when the season rolls around, but each tote gives something back to a great cause.
The Jack-o-Lantern FEED Trick-or-Treat Tote retails for $13.20 and with each purchase through HSN.com, HSN is donating 100% of its profits (which is $3.50) from the FEED Trick-or-Treat bag initiative to the US Fund for UNICEF to help support global nutrition programs for children around the world.

The Feed Bag by Feed
With our environment in a state of crisis, more and more people have been jumping on the eco-friendly bandwagon. Being green and being fashionable are now one in the same for many people. Celebs everywhere have been photographed shopping at farmers’ markets carrying their reusable shopping totes. But don’t get me wrong, I think it is wonderful how everyone is becoming more aware of how humans have negatively impacted the Earth. My only hope is that the Going Green Trend will someday be more than just a trend, it will be a way of life.
So you like the idea of carrying around a tote bag that will help save the Earth. How about getting a tote bag that saves the Earth in more ways than one? Introducing the Feed Bag by Feed. When I first saw this tote, I only saw the word “Feed”. Wait… what kind of feed? Horse feed? But upon closer inspection, I realized that the bag actually said “Feed The Children Of The World”. Not only is this tote bag eco-friendly, it also helps feed the hungry by donating $20 from its sale to the U.N. World Food Program. According to the WFP website, “one in nearly seven people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life, making hunger and malnutrition the number one risk to health worldwide.” Although this isn’t the most attractive eco-friendly tote I have ever seen, I think its worthy cause more than makes up for it.
The Feed Bag by Feed retails for $59.95. Find it at Vivre
