I have a major crush on Givenchy lately. A lot of their recent pieces for the Spring 2013 season have been such a hit for me, styles and colors that I would love to add to my handbag collection (Lucrezia or Micro Nightingale anyone?). One of their recent handheld styles that caught my attention is the Givenchy Croc Stamped Clutch. Not only because of it’s on-the-go style, awesome croc-embossed pattern and a size that’s spacious enough for your daily essentials, but the price tag is ridiculously low for a Givenchy Clutch! $354!!

There is something about silk floral dresses that I find quite alluring. Soft, floaty, feminine… and did I mention glamorous? Yes, definitely glamorous! So it seems only natural for a dress-worthy silk floral fabric to find its way over to the world of handbags. After all, what is more glamorous than a clutch? Introducing the Givenchy Print Evening Clutch!
Givenchy bags: The Pandora, Antigona, Nightingale have a luxurious rocker chic vibe about that that says edge and sophistication all at one time. I’ve been eyeballing their bags for awhile now but hadn’t made the plunge. Prices range from $1178 for a mini Pandora to a over $2,100 for a large Nightingale. Serious stuff.
While perusing the Luisa Via Roma site, I ran across Elena Ghisellini bags and thought they looked quite similar. So, I did a little research. Turns out she is the Givenchy designer behind those serious bags! So, there’s definitely going to be some similarities!
Beautiful distressing and treatments to the leather with minimal hardware. Classic, sophisticated and hard-working, these bag have character and amazing style. What’s more, the price point for her line is around $900 for each bag! Deserves a look, right?!
My favorite bag from her line is the Grainy Top Handled Bag for $938. It’s available in black and taupe. The bag is rectangular and measures 14.5″ x 19.5″ with an 8″ strap drop that lays nicely across the bag giving it an angled side appearance. Two rolled leather top handles finish the bag.
You should all know by now that I have an obsession for animal prints, particularly leopard print. Rawr! So when I saw Givenchy’s latest Leopard Print Bag it was love at first sight instantly. It’s simple and the perfect purse to use to go from day to night.
I’ve always had a weakness for animal prints. Although in recent months there has been a flood of “Leopard Print” bags to hit the market just in time for spring and summer for the yearly animal print tradition. But my question is, has it lost its wow factor? Or is it just one of those trends that will come back yearly, regardless.
Every designer under the sun has their own interpretation of the Leopard Print design. And what’s great about this is that there are so many different variations out there of the same idea, so its not exactly like you’re getting the same thing.

Even President Obama’s senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, snatched one of these babies up! Talk about carrying your work around with you in style!

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has been spotted all over town this past week running errands in her backyard of Los Angeles, from hitting the gym to shopping excursions to a day at the spa, with her amazing new Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci oversized tote on arm.
Right now the Billy is available in black or pale green over at Barneys for $1,975 – The average price range for Givenchy handbags. The black version which Kim is carrying is my favorite based on the online stock photos, but we all know how differently a bag can appear online vs in person. I for sure need to go check out the pale green, which to me looks more of like a beige-ish color. Soft hues are going to be huge for spring, so the color just sounds amazing.
As Kim demonstrated above, it’s the perfect bag for just about any occasion. And with it’s large spacious size there’s no need to minimalize yourself..bring everything you need for your daily trip. Measures in at 14.5″ x 20″ x 7″. 6″ handle drop. Also if you need a little bit more space, unzip the side zippers to expand. Other features worth mentioning: the mouth of the bag features a magnetic snap closure, canvas lined interior with zipper pocket and two organizational pockets. Plus the rolled handles are made with ostrich leather, for that little hint of exotic.
