    Givenchy Nightingale Sugar Satchel

    By jennifer · On June 12, 2014

When the Givenchy Nightingale was first introduced a few years ago it was love at first sight and I pre-ordered the off-white cream version.

The high-maintance combined with lack of wear I decided to list it on eBay, where it sold in a heartbeat. It’s not that I didn’t love the bag, I just found that color transfer was a huge issue, especially when wearing dark jeans. So common sense would be to wear the bag only during the warmer season with maxi skirts or lightly colored jeans. But living in Emerald City (Seattle) those days are few, and generally the Golden Rule is white and off-white bags are best to be worn from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Today if I was to re-purchase this classic Givenchy style I would most definitely order the Grey Nightingale Sugar Satchel! Not only during the Fall to Winter months but Spring and Summer as well I wear shades that would go well with a neutral shade such as grey. It’s season-less plus the style is classic and will stand the test of time.
