The Hills star, Lauren Conrad, was spotted on her way to catching a flight at the Los Angeles International Airport last week. Although the now fashion designer is on an official hiatus from her Lauren Conrad Collection line, she still managed to launch her new clothing line for Kohl’s stores (LC by Lauren Conrad) this last Fall. Keeping that in mind, it is easy to see that Lauren has her own sense of style. For her journey, Lauren was sporting a navy blue boyfriend cardigan over black leggings. She paired the outfit with a pair of knee-high cognac boots. Her hair was left long and loose, while her makeup was kept to a minimum… appropriate for the long flight that lies ahead of her. What struck me by surprise, however, was Lauren’s choice of carry-on bag. Most celebs are spotted with their Louis Vuitton luggage as they trek through the airport. Lauren, on the other hand, appears to prefer a bag from another French designer — the Goyard Carry-On Duffle. This lovely piece features the designer’s signature print in black and red. It looks to be the perfect size for holding all the essentials, without the bulk of a carry-on suitcase. Plus it could easily double as an overnight bag!

Goyard Saint Honore Bag
In celebration of the 180th year in fashion, French malletier (trunkmaker) Goyard is releasing a special limited edition clutch called the Saint Honore Bag, named after the first Paris flagship store located at Saint Honore.
Brief fyi history about Goyard: La Maison Goyard was founded in 1853 in Paris. Edme Goyard worked as a malletier for a company then known as Maison Morel (founded in 1792), which his son, Francois, bought out in 1853. At that time, the company was renamed to what we know today as Goyard. At this time the Paris flagship store was located at Saint Honore (hence the name of the special edition designer bag). A couple years later the chevron canvas was created in 1892, and was traditionally produced in black and red.
The special edition Goyard clutch carries a steep retail price of $4100.
Goyard is sold in fewer than fifteen locations worldwide, including three proprietary boutiques in Paris, San Francisco’s Union Square and The Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong. Find: Goyard Saint Louis Shopping pm Bag
This is a very rare event where an authentic Goyard tote is currently available on ebay. If you are a frequent goyard-ebay’er, then you know what I am talking about. The virtual halls are usually flooded with fake goyard bags, but this one is authentic.
It’s the gorgeous white one too. I have been in love with this bag’s white version ever since I saw Nicole Richie pictured with it a while back. It’s spacious, incredibly light, and has thin comfortable shoulder straps – leaving it the ideal candidate for almost all occasions – travel, beach, running errands, work, school, shopping, any occasion where you want to pile everything you need and more within arms reach.

Important Details about the Goyard Tote: This slightly used bag is made in France. It measures Height 10″ X Width 18″X deepth 5.5″. The leather piping is in good condition. Handle straps have minimal dirty marks and side part leather piping has some used marks. The front surface part is clean. A small pouch with button is attached to the inside of the bag. The interior canvas is immaculate – no stains, no penmarks, etc.

Goyard special green edition canvas purse is designed from 100% recycled natural material without plastic or petroleum. You can find it at your local Barneys, where it retails for $1,095. Also, since Barney’s no longer sells Goyard designer handbags online, visit Goyard.com to get a list of department stores that sell them in your area.
Remember with the monogramming you have to tack on an additional $310. Personally I could resist the recycle symbol, it makes the bag look like a cheap $5 grocery sack, and just go with my initials.

Goyard’s 10th anniversary limited edition bag for Colette
Happy Birthday Colette! In celebration of this milestone Colette is working in collaboration with a couple fashion-forward partners to create some awesome limited edition goodies that will be available when March rolls around.
