I finished college last year but when I was attending for some odd reason I always liked having either the most fashionable school supply or the cutest. Sometimes my stuff was high fashion and sometimes it was things you would envision a little girl would have. I wouldn’t say I’m immature it just brought some life to the very boring college life I had. Plus the girls would always be mean to me to my face or behind my back talking about the accessories I had, the heels I wore, or how much of an idiot I must be to spend what I did on what I had. I can still remember to this day walking out of class and a girl yelling at me, “Just so you know college isn’t a fashion show Pantene girl.” I looked at her and just gave her the famous Pantene hair flip because two wrongs never make a right and karma is meaner than I can ever be.

Harajuku Lovers Bishoujo Athletic Bag
Any Harajuku Lovers in here? We’re all familiar with Gwen Stefani’s fun and affordable pieces. Meet one of the latest styles made especially for her line, the Bishoujo Athletic Girls in red. Gwen’s Harajuku Lovers line isn’t something extremely popular, or at least it isn’t in my area. Occasionally, I’ll sight a tote or two at my local mall, but the smaller accessories such as the makeup bags and coin pouches are a lot more popular to spot around. Gwen directs this piece to you gals who want to break a sweat with style without having to splurge so much on a gym bag. The cute Bishoujo girl’s attire of choice is her workout outfit, which isn’t too flattering if you ask me. A deep red canvas and an actual whistle can be found on this nicely sized tote. I love the $58 price tag, which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. Would I spend that much on this tote? Probably not. It really isn’t something I could see myself using. If I were looking for an affordable tote bag with a cute character on it, I think Miss. Marc (MbMJ line) would win my vote over a Harajuku girl, any day. What do you girls think? Would you sport this tote?

Harajuku Lovers VS Dooney’s Candy
Both bags named “Candy? are dressed in a suit of taste-y candy. But who does it best? Which would you wear? The eye-catching Dooney and Bourke candy tassel handbag or the Harajuku Lovers Candy (even though there isn’t really any candy – more of sweets) tote?
Personally my vote is for the Harajuku Lovers Candy tote. It’s more casual and comfortable to carry as a on-the-go day bag. I can totally see myself using it as a beach bag or in replace of my market tote which I have been using a lot lately in replace of using plastic bags. The Dooney bag is unique (not favored in the Bag Forum) but there is just too much going on. The design is cluttered. The Dooney bag is like a candy bin and the Harjuku is like a handful of your favorite sweets.
What do you guys think? Dooney or the Harajuku Lovers??
