You can never go wrong with the classic terry velour Day Dreamer! Plus it is available in a variety of colors. What I like about this bag is that it appeals to the younger crowd, but it isn’t too kiddie (just keep the colors neutral). So depending on how youthful you feel yourself, you might find yourself wanting to borrow this bag from your daughter/sister/niece/whatever!
When I was in high school, I loved hippie-inspired stuff. It was actually quite popular at the time. For handbags, I absolutely loved the little crossbody styles that were floating around. One of my favorites was a cream colored crocheted bag that my mom had found for me. But I also loved fringe (and still do today)!
