Lately, L.A.M.B. has been coming out with some gorgeous handbags, but I’m not sure how I feel about the “Signature Williamsfield” handbag. I think, L.A.M.B. is a unique brand with an eclectic style, and I’m not so sure how a “lamb” reflects that style. It’s obvious why they would choose to have a lamb on the front of the handbag, but is it stylish or tacky?

The L.A.M.B. Signature Williamsfield is a spacious tote, and would be a perfect bag for school or work. The measurements of the bag are, 17″ (width) x 13″ (height) making it a great handbag to carry a lot of your essentials in. I would personally use the bag for school. I could literally put my netbook, notebook, textbook and essentials in it and it would fit perfectly. My concern is the design on the front of the bag.

On the front of the bag it pretty much is an advertisement with a bit of information on it. Yes, a majority of high fashion handbags are advertisement pieces but I feel the L.A.M.B. Signature Williamsfield bag goes a little over board.

“L.A.M.B. U.S. Trademark Office NO. 3268695 Established,2003″ is written on the front of the bag with a lamb conveniently placed right next to the wording. Kind of tacky to me, but I’ll leave that up to you to decide how you feel about this handbag.

Other details of the handbag include: dual shoulder straps; L.A.M.B. detailed hardware; platform bottom; magnetic snap closure; and interior lining.

The L.A.M.B. Signature Williamsfield can be purchased at Zappos for $295. I think that’s a bit too much for this tote, but of course that is just my opinion.

The Chat: LAMB Williamsfield

L.A.M.B. has just come out with the Ceylon Pickwick handbag, and it’s fabulous! I consider it a handbag, but it was a made to be a traveling bag to carry your clothes, shoes, and the rest of your essentials.

The handbag comes with two handles and a long shoulder strap. If you are going to use this bag as a handbag I would suggest the best way to carry it is by the double handles. The shoulder strap is very long, and would best be used if you decide to use the bag as a travel bag.

I must say though, the L.A.M.B. Ceylon Pickwick bag does make a stylish travel bag. Every time I’m in an airport, it’s very rare you see a person with a fashionable carry on or suitcase. A majority of the travel bags used by the general public are very bland, and definitely not stylish.

The bag is made of genuine leather and has a front exterior flap pocket. Being that the handbag is made of leather, you can be sure it’s durable especially for a travel bag that get’s tossed around a lot. Other details of the bag include: studded accents; a top zip closure; interior lining; and interior pockets.

You can purchase the L.A.M.B. Ceylon Pickwick at Zapppos for $595. Whether you decide to use it as a handbag or travel bag, the price tag is actually great! It’s not very often you can find a versatile designer bag for such a great price!

The Chat: LAMB Ceylon

Gwen Stefani popped up at Kate Hudson’s big 30-year-old birthday bash, which was at her mom Goldie Hawn’s Pacific Palisades home. For the occasion Gwen showed up looking effortlessly stylish in a pair of plaid boyfriend shorts and blazer, wearing her signature red lipstick, and of course rocking one of her latest pieces from her L.A.M.B. summer 2009 collection.

One of the newest additions to her line which just hit store shelves!

Like most bags by L.A.M.B., this clutch is really quite unique. The body is made of canvas with two-tone patent leather banding racing down the front and back and topped off with gold hardware. Also designed with leather trim around the edges and screw-head stud detail at sides and bottom. Also features the signature logo plate, leather strap, and magnetic closure at front flap. The interior is fully lined and features a single zipper pocket. Measurements of this clutch are 6″ height x 11″ length x 1.5″ depth. And as you can see from the picture above with Gwen, the size is amazing.

Not until recently, I have never been a fan of L.A.M.B. handbags, quite frankly I’ve never been a fan of “L.A.M.B.” period. While browsing around the Nordstrom Rack store, a week ago, at the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, Florida I came across a gorgeous pair of heels. To my surprise, the heels were by L.A.M.B. and I have been researching “L.A.M.B.” goods non-stop ever since that day!

I came across the L.A.M.B. Ryder Horizontal Pleated Satchel on the Nordstrom website and it is actually quite stunning! The handbag is available in two colors: Freesia (yellow) and Jet (Black), but my favorite of the two colors is Jet!

The L.A.M.B. Ryder Horizontal Pleated Satchel is covered in silvertone hardware and also has pleats that wrap around the front and back of the handbag. Other features of the handbag include:being made of leather; a top zip closure; exterior and interior zip pockets; and logo print lining.

The L.A.M.B. Ryder Horizontal Pleated Satchel can be purchased at Nordstrom for $595. The price tag seems a little steep for me, especially for a handbag that is not made in France or Italy but I won’t deny that this handbag is stunning. Pricey or not, this handbag would be a lovely addition to any collection.

It’s upsetting to many including myself, as eLuxury happened to be one of my favorite shopping sites. My favorite find of the moment are these ultra cute Verse Clutches by L.A.M.B. An eLuxury exclusive, what’s not to like about these pieces? It’s a pouch with a framed top switch closure. It comes in rich embossed leather with a leather striped panel for décor. I’m liking the polished gold hardware, the pleated leather, and my favorite, the striped textile lining that can be found inside. It’s cute and a functional accessory to carry day or night. Don’t mistake this for some little coin purse as clutch measures in at 12” x 7” x 2”. Available in Jet Black or Poppy Red, you can find these marked down from its original price tag of $325 down to $195!

The Chat: L.A.M.B Verse

In a previous entry, I mentioned how zebra prints could possibly be making yet another comeback to the world of handbags. I guess artist turned fashion designer Gwen Stefani got the memo, just check out her latest Williamsfield Tote design. Oh the many designs the handy Williamsfield tote has been through, I’ve seen checkered, signature, even wild leopard print. So Zebra makes it to the list this season, and it’s not half bad. I actually like the overall appearance of the stripes as it carries a new look to the typical zebra-print bags. It’s as if the trend is there, but sort of in disguise. If you take a closer look at the coated canvas background, faded newspaper articles are imprinted on it. I wonder what the faded newspapers read, what reports could possibly be found lining your bag? More typical details found on this piece would be the blingy L.A.M.B logo plate, the striped lining, and the engraved squared studs. Ladies, what’s your say on this tote, and how do you feel about zebra print?

Here’s a handbag eLuxury loves, it’s actually featured on the Bags We Love page found on their site. In case you haven’t already, meet the Kaye Kaleidoscope Bag by L.A.M.B. Leave it to Gwen Stefani to design something so eye-catching and bold. I remember as a kid owning a toy Kaleidoscope tube and how entertaining that mechanism can be. From my knowledge, the name fits this piece effortlessly. Just like the toy, a fusion of bright hues and colorful small objects can be found throughout this satchel. So the colors are admirable and the satchel shape is a preference of mine and is suitable for my needs, but would I actually give into this bag? Probably not. I tend to stick with neutrals and I really don’t think I could pull off patent bright orange. Braided piped handles, enameled studs, and the lamb-shaped appliqué are a couple of more details that can be found on this piece. Measuring in at 14” x 8” x 7”, you can find the Kaye Kaleidoscope bag with a decent price tag of $675. Ladies, what’s your input on this bag, and most importantly, Would you wear this?

L.A.M.B Signature Wiltshire Bag
Any of you gals fans of Mrs. Gwen Stefani? She sure does have some catchy tunes, but I’m not too convinced if I’m ready to own a piece of her L.A.M.B line. I’ve never disliked her line, as a matter of fact; I find her collection rather interesting. The truth is, her energetic style isn’t really mine, so for that reason, I can’t seem to give into a L.A.M.B bag just yet. The Soft Signature Wiltshire Bag is a newbie to me, and upon viewing it, I liked it. It’s casual yet it has a sporty feeling to it, and we’re talking about a signature printed tote bag with the brands’ name running vertically through its center (something I would definitely avoid all together). I dig the double leather handles, the detachable coin pouch, and the fact that this tote has the perfect amount of color, allowing this piece to be suitable for the fall season. I can’t possibly forget to mention the $295 retail price for this tote. Why so affordable you might ask? It’s the material of choice for this bag, which happens to be PVC. What do you ladies think about this L.A.M.B tote? Do you dig the smoky ombré design?

L.A.M.B Edinburgh Plaid Purse
Have you Bagista’s seen the latest handbag and accessories pattern by L.A.M.B? Edinburgh is the name given to the new plaid design for the brand. What do you all think? I personally am extremely picky when it comes to picking my plaid; hence, I’m not that great of a fan. Some plaids are pleasant and effortless to match an outfit with, but then you run into designs sporting lines with abnormal hues, and you just can’t help to dislike such clutter.

I apologize to any L.A.M.B fans out there (as well as the fans of this particular design), but I just cant find any likes in the Edinburgh line. It all starts off with the multicolored plaid fabric that looks so incredibly cheap. The hues and its texture does nothing for me. I can’t even begin to think what I could possibly wear to match my bag with. I will note that in the past, L.A.M.B has released better-looking designs on their handbags and accessories such as the glazed love line, which happens to be my favorite. What do you ladies think about the multicolored plaid pattern? Do I stand-alone with my opinion and dislikes, or would you definitely rock a piece of this line?
