If you haven’t heard yet, Emerald Green was crowned the Pantone Color of the Year for 2013! And I couldn’t be more happier. Emerald green has always been one of my favorite colors, and now that it was just titled the latest ‘It Color’, I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing it a lot in the coming months.
I’ve been seeing polka dots a lot lately in the fashion world, and I like it! I’ve always seen polka dots as a fun design to wear. Just two weeks ago I bought a white blazer that had black polka dots all over it. It looks as if it would be to gaudy and loud to wear. However, if you pair it up with a simple all black outfit it looks great! At the moment, I own two pairs of shoes and three pieces of clothing that have polka dots all over them. If you know how to style yourself right, polka dots can be really cute to wear.
Lauren Merkin has been hiding in the shadows lately. I see clutches from this designer often, but nothing has really stood out from the typical designs I have come to expect from her. I spotted some animal prints, but that was about as exciting as things were going to get. That is, until now! I stumbled across the Lauren Merkin Molly Clutch and… WOW!

She looked stunning at the event, dressed a beautiful summery floral chiffon dress, matching off-white pumps, statement making red polish and Lauren Merkin’s “Lotte” clutch in blush crepe de chine. I love her look. Also I couldn’t help but notice in the picture that Amber isn’t wearing any jewelry, but rather only her Lotte purse clutched in hand. What do you guys think of her look?
