She looked stunning at the event, dressed a beautiful summery floral chiffon dress, matching off-white pumps, statement making red polish and Lauren Merkin’s “Lotte” clutch in blush crepe de chine. I love her look. Also I couldn’t help but notice in the picture that Amber isn’t wearing any jewelry, but rather only her Lotte purse clutched in hand. What do you guys think of her look?

Taylor Swift pictured above leaving Katy Perry’s birthday party over the weekend in Hollywood. For the party, Taylor accessorized her white frock (which was splashed with paint at the party) with Lauren Merkin’s “Eve” clutch in pewter metallic snake.

Lauren Merkin is famously well-known for her gorgeous clutches. They are the perfect little accessory for any occasion. Usually clutches in her collection range anywhere from about $180 to $300 (the clutch above retailing for $180). Although, if you’re a frugal shopper keep your eye on sample sale site Gilt Groupe – they occasionally feature this designer at a huge discount. Clutches that retail in the neighborhood of $100. It’s amazing.

When I think of Lauren Merkin, I think of clutches, clutches, and more clutches. Typically though, the Lauren Merkin clutches I have seen were made of embossed leather. Occasionally, I’ve come across a satin or tweed design. But lace? Nope, never. So it’s no wonder that the Lauren Merkin Corded Lace ‘Lotte’ Clutch caught my attention. The lace is certainly unexpected, but I think it is absolutely adorable! I love how the black lace is accented with white cording. Plus the pleats give the clutch a nice softened look. I think this clutch would look great paired with a white or black cotton sundress. It would be perfect for a casual summer wedding! Or, if you wanted to it wear for a night out with the girls, you could pair it with an eyelet lace halter top! Cute!

The Lauren Merkin Corded Lace ‘Lotte’ Clutch features an envelope-style flap closure, complete with hidden magnetic “snap”. The clutch is lined with a pretty lining that almost looks (to me, anyway) like seersucker. And don’t let the pictures fool you, this clutch is actually pretty decent in size. If you’re looking for a few hot goodies to add to your clutch collection, here are a few great additions for you by designer Lauren Merkin. This season, bright colors are making an appearance everywhere including vibrant shades of blue, pink, and metallics. And a clutch in any of these colors definitely adds a great touch to your outfit.

The Lauren Merkin Diana Text Lamb Clutch in cobalt blue is both colorful and practical. As I have mentioned before, electric blue hues are hot for Spring and Summer. Also, it can easly match with anything you wear. This supple blue lambskin clutch features a 22″ long strap to be worn over the shoulder and measures 9.5″x 2″x 2″, allowing you to comfortably carry your necessities. Price: $250
