It’s hard to believe that spring and summer will be here before we know it. Straw handbags and accessories are popping up left and right on department store and virtual shelves alike. For me though, I am not quite ready to break out the straw or raffia just yet. After all, it is still February. And yet, I am dying for it to be spring. I think I found the perfect compromise though! Take a moment and discover the Loeffler Randall Tab Clutch!
When looking at the Loeffler Randall Clutch from a distance, you see the illusion of something more “organic” and natural. Leather is technically a natural material, but I am talking about the short, straw colored leather fringe poking out from either side of the center stripe. It almost looks like straw or raffia. There is no question this is an interesting look. I love the neutral colors. They are very spring-like. At the same time, the black and white embroidered center stripe adds some contrast. Despite the high contrast, it somehow ties the whole look together. I am not sure why exactly, but it just works. I also see a lot of potential as far as versatility goes. This piece would look great paired with black or with other neutrals. Semi-formal? Casual? This clutch would work for both. You really couldn’t go wrong!
