I’m a fan of the leather direction that Longchamp is captivating on their handbags. One of their latest additions is the LM Cuir Tote and I’m an instant fan. Not only does the Oak Brown hue fit in perfectly with the autumn season but its design is classy and feminine enough to take you throughout the season and beyond.

Longchamp presents a true graphic print with the travel chic in mind through this lively printed duffle bag. “Greetings from Paradise The Land of Sunshine”, is read on this energetic voyager. The fashion pioneer behind this cheery design is American designer Jeremy Scott, who has become a celebrity favorite with his artistic and humorous designer trends. It’s nice to stray away from your typical solid duffels, but how much print is simply, too much?

Longchamp, a French leather and luxury goods company, was founded in 1948 by Jean Cassegrain. The company originally produced leather coverings for pipes, however, by 1955 they had expanded to include small leather goods. In 1970, the company opened its first boutiques in Hong Kong and Japan, where they were well-known for their lightweight travel pieces. In the 1980s, Phillipe Cassegrain (Jean’s son) was given the company’s reins. It was during this time that the company began producing clothing, scarves, and other accessories.

The Anniversary shopping sale party is happening now over at Nordstrom!
Below is just a small handful of my top favorite 4 online picks.
I live in Seattle, and even though the weather has been all good, bright and sunny the last couple days, I know there’s a rain shower waiting for us on the other side of the rainbow. Which means, any season is a good season to grab a pair of boots, and when a pair of designer boots reaches the sale section, I of course jump on that.
The Burberry Rain Boots are currently on sale for $169.90 (after sale $250)

A color that can easily transfer from Summer to Fall with ease. The Heloise in a yummy honey nutmeg brown shade. By the way, worth noting, this purse is full price at all other online department stores. Crazy deal happening now over at the Anniversary sale.
The Chloe Heloise is currently marked down to $998.90 (after sale $1,495)

You know what sounds really nice right now? A romantic weekend getaway! Of course, this picture-perfect trip would not be complete without a picture-perfect travel bag. Personally, I like a classic duffel style. That’s why I really like this Kate Moss for Longchamp Gloucester Weekender Travel Bag. That’s right! The iconic face behind the Longchamp name now has her very own collection! These bags really capture the essence of Kate’s day-to-day look. Inspired by vintage luggage, the Gloucester Weekender Travel Bag is effortlessly timeless. I really like the look and feel of this bag — carefree, yet stylish.
My favorite part about this bag, however, is the unexpected surprise inside! Simply open it up to reveal a fun, zebra-print lining! And, as an added bonus, this bag also comes with a matching zebra-print scarf! So if you’re looking for a classic travel bag, I would definitely suggest giving this gorgeous piece a second look. But if the simple beauty of this bag doesn’t convince you, perhaps its utilitarian design will.

I’m always looking forward to see what French brand Longchamp brings to the table, especially within their popular colorful nylon totes. A couple of years back; I misunderstood what the entire fuss about these bags was about as they simply appeared to be a straightforward, nylon tote bag to me. But they’re common for a reason and most owners would agree that its compact design, durability and the easily affordable price tags keeps the Longchamp brand so popular.
The large foldable totes in a single bright color are the most popular among students at my university, come to think of it; I haven’t eyed one with a trendy design on it. That may be why I admire the Eiffel Tower Pliage tote from the rest. A printed graphic design of France’s infamous landmark, the Eiffel Tower, is found tilted sideways on the front of this tote. It makes for a simple reminder of the proud heritage of the Longchamp brand.

Jeremy Scott, the American fashion designer known for his humorous prints which are painted all over the famous Piliage bag, that he designs each season for the French luxury company Longchamp, has done it once again. Continue Reading

It seems that all anyone ever talks about is IT bags. So what exactly makes an IT bag and IT bag? After doing a bit of research, it appears as though the term was coined in the 1990s. During this time, the handbag market was experiencing explosive growth. Designers needed to come up with a design that would allow them to stand out in this seemingly never-ending sea of handbags. Producing a design that would become an IT bag was like the holy grail of the handbag world. But oddly enough, we still don’t really know what makes an IT bag an IT bag. Sure an IT bag is something that everyone must own, but why is that exactly? There are a lot of different possibilities, but I don’t think we can place our finger on just one.
And exactly what does all of this have to do with this handbag I have pictured here? Hopefully it is obvious! Meet the Longchamp ‘It Bag’ Horizontal Tote. A playful spin on the whole IT bag phenomenon, this otherwise plain looking tote has “Ceci est un IT BAG” written right across the front. Well, it technically may not be an IT bag per se. However, I think it would make a nice tote for all those casual summer activities. You can pick one up at Nordstrom, where it is currently available in orange and retails for $340.

Longchamp Nylon Foldable Tote
So you want a new handbag for Christmas this year, but you don’t feel the need to splurge much? I’ve had this problem quite a few times, except my dilemma consists of wanting a new purse, but the bag fund is low. Browsing along Saks Fifth Avenue via the Internet, I was drawn to the attention of the TOP 25 GIFTS for this year, page. Among the collection, I spotted the Longchamp Nylon Foldable Tote. Personally, I like this bag. I think it would make a great kick-around tote or even a travel piece with such large dimensions (19” x 12.5” x 7”). Whether you prefer red, chocolate, black or navy nylon; you can find this piece in either shade, for only $145! Yes, the price is great, but wait, you can custom it even more to your likings as this Longchamp tote can be personalized. Request a complimentary embroidering of your initials for a nice touch of your own. Just do keep in mind that once embroidered, this item cannot be returned. Saks thinks this is a great gift to give or receive, and so do I. Ladies, what’s your input on this nylon tote, do you like it?
