Takashi Murakami, the famous Japanese artist which has done both fine art creations as well as digital and commercial media which includes work for Louis Vuitton (previously covered here) and even the designs for the upcoming album release by Kanye West.
He is at it again with a limited time “pop-up” Louis Vuitton store in the middle of the MOCA (Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art) (from Oct 10, 2007 - Feb 11, 2008), which features limited edition handbags and other small leather goods that feature Murakami’s unique designs and characters.
The bags will range from $875 to $920 in price, which is only about a $300 markup from the base Louis Vuitton bag prices.
