“You can’t spell the word LOVE without the letters “LV� – Marc Jacobs
Browsed eluxury today and noticed they finally have the Louis Vuitton That’s Love Canvas Tote available. . . and I did not know it retailed for $1720! That was a bit shocking in my opinion. Considering that it’s just a canvas shoppers tote. I don’t know what Marc Jacobs was thinking when he produced this bag for Louis Vuitton, since it seems quite similar to his Marc Jacobs super inexpensive “Special Itemsâ€? line. The canvas totes in that line retail for only $10. Don’t get me wrong, the Louis Vuitton That’s Love Tote is totally cute for summer and all, but the pricing is a bit on the extreme side - I was thinking $850-ish.
What’s so special about Louis Vuitton’s Love Bag? Well the cotton canvas body is ornamented with the hand-stitched logo, which apparently took over 20 hours and 620 gold and silver tube beads to create. That’s the only flashy part of the bag. The interior is simple, lined with linen and features one single pocket. Measurements: 13� x 14.5� x 4�
Worth it? Or a big fat nay?

My word, this bag is really expensive. I rarely complain when it comes to the price of designer handbags. Because we all know, designer purses = investment.. but this is just crazy. $2k for a canvas tote? That’s as bad as the plastic see-through beach bags.
I say yay to the bag, but nay on the price. I agree with you 100%, $800-$1,000 seems right.
