Luella | Gisele Handbag | On Sale $599.89 | View!
Long ago the Luella Gisele was once the hottest “It Bag” of the season. It was first introduced in later months of 2003, but was not instantly crowned with the “It Bag” status until months later when we saw it on the arms of almost all fashionable starlets and celebrities. Wonder what’s in the name? Young designer Luella Bartley named the Luella Gisele bag after the Brazilian beauty supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Even though this bag dropped it’s “It Bag” Status, it’s still one bag that is admired by all ages. See below, Jennifer Aniston and Mischa Barton are still toting theirs.

Have you ever wondered where a designer gets the idea of how to name a handbag line? For this Joni bag Luella decided to pay tribute to singer Joni Mitchell and designed this beautiful red textured lambskin studded bag. Oh and this bag is also available in Black python, but you have to search around for it, I couldn’t locate one online.

Designer Handbag Deal of the Day!
Luella | Lucca Fringed Hobo | On Sale $995.25 | Discover The Sale!
If you love fringe then you may love the Luella Lucca Fringed Hobo. Personally I’m not that in love with the dangling details, or anything fringe for that matter. When I first saw this tasseled bag I got the image of those ugly leather fringe jackets (sorry if you own one). If I had this Luella Lucca or if someone purchased it as a gift for me, then I would have the urge to snip it off the tassels. Am I the only one here that dislikes the fringe? I think the bag would look just fine with out.

FYI this bag usually retails for $1,327 and can now be found on the clearance rack at net-a-porter for the discounted, but still highly priced $995.25.

Any handbag under $30 is going to make my list for ‘Designer Handbag Deal of the Day’. The color isn’t exactly one of my favorites, I’m not a fan of bright orange bags, however if it came in white I would buy 2. Although I like the bag, I have to make fun of the reviews people posted about this bag on the Target site.

Luella Bartley
Since launching in 1999, London-based Luella Bartley has been delivering effortless street-chic season after season. Her eternal muse is the rebel Brit “It” girl who can’t help but be adorable in her pink button-down shirts tucked into skintight jeans or layered under Bartley’s favorite striped sweaters. Bartley mixes themes with ?lan: punk motorcycle jackets with gingham skirts; little black dresses with pearls for polka dots; preppy navy, red, and white. Add to this Bartley’s always in-demand accessories lineup of cool leather bags and shoes.

The Central Saint Martins grad and onetime British Vogue editor still lives in London – with fashion-photographer boyfriend David Sims and their two children – even though she’s been showing in New York since 2001. In a flip-flop setup, Bartley’s first few shows featured friends like Sadie Frost walking the runway while model pal Kate Moss watched from the front row. In January 2006, Bartley was selected to launch Target’s Go International line.
