Nudes are everywhere right now! On your feet (shoes), on your nails (polish), and even on the beach (shame on you, I was talking about nude swimsuits)! But I suppose it should come as no surprise. After all, nudes are definitely a warm season trend. So why not nude handbags as well? They have been popping up left and right lately! I really love this look. Nudes are so simple and chic, plus they go with just about anything! You have to be careful though. There are definitely dos and don’ts with this trend. For example: Do go for rich textures, but don’t pair nudes with perforations (too Band-Aid-ish). Stick with geometric or animal-inspired textures instead.
Alright! Are you ready to give this trend a try now? To get you started, I have a few suggestions below. Check them out! There is something for everyone and for every budget!
Lauren Merkin Molly Suede Croco Clutch. $325
You can’t go wrong with a classic envelope clutch! This style looks absolutely fabulous in nude! I also love the suede and the croco-embossed texture. It is really simple, yet it looks so very rich at the same time.

Can you define the word “minimalism” in only three words? I certainly can — Maison Martin Margiela! You have probably seen handbags from this designer floating around here and there. They are always very clean and simple. You won’t find any flashy hardware or complicated designs here! If you love this minimalistic look, then Maison Martin Margiela sounds perfect for you! There’s just one problem, these pieces tend to be a bit pricey (especially considering the fact there isn’t much to them). There isn’t a lot of bang for your buck. That is why I was so excited when I saw this designer’s diffusion line called MM6. Check out the MM6 Maison Martin Margiela Shopper and tell me what you think!

I love bags that can be styled two different ways. At the moment, I can’t stop sporting a bag I bought at Michael Kors. It’s black leather, with gold hardware, can be carried as a clutch but it also has a gold chain so you can use it as a shoulder bag. It’s a tough economy and the more versatile a bag is the better! With the ability to carry it a variety ways you’re able to style it up with different outfits and at different times of the day.
The Maison Martin Margiela Leather “Fold Over” Tote is one of those bags. During the day you can use it as a casual tote but then you can fold it over and carry it as a clutch, which looks a little more stylish to me. I would personally would probably use it more folded over unless I was carrying something large and then I would have to use it as a tote.

Looking for the perfect gift for the bagista on your list? Nothing screams “the best gift ever” more than the perfect black bag! Why a black bag? For starters, you can never go wrong with black. It looks good with everything and will never go out of style. Plus black bags look chic and sophisticated, no matter what the style happens to be. They are staples in collections big and small. Let’s face it, bagistas love their black bags! So why not put a smile on her face? Like I said, you really can’t go wrong! But I understand buying a bag can be a scary thing, so here are some suggestions to get you started just in case. Check them out!
Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC Bag. $195
I don’t think I know anyone who isn’t in love with Rebecca Minkoff. Her styles have a nice edge to them, without looking too trendy. I especially love the crossbody styles, like the Mini MAC. They are perfect for the girl on the go. Whether it’s shopping or running errands, nothing beats the convenience of a hands-free bag.

Whenever I take all the fashionable things I want to purchase to the register, I always hope they give me a shopping bag. I can not stand when stores put our purchases in a plastic bag. To me, it’s disrespectful to the items we just purchased and who wants wrinkly clothes? I sure don’t! A shopping bag leaves everything nice, tidy and organized inside. Sometimes the stores that put our new belongings in plastic bags give you the option to buy a paper shopping bag. You better believe I always buy one. I don’t even like my groceries in a plastic bag. It just screams messy and tacky to me but of course that’s just my personal opinion.

For some odd reason, I love studs and crystals. Funny thing is though, I don’t like diamonds! Aren’t diamonds supposed to be a girls best friend? For me, shoes are my best friends! I’m definitely the type of woman that would prefer a pair of shoes over diamonds. Crazy I know, but that’s me!
Since I love studs, I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I would love the Maison Martin Margiela “Studded” Clutch. I love this clutch so much because I can see it carried in so many different ways. I can see myself carrying this clutch around when I’m sporting a rocker chick kind of look during the day or when I’m wearing a classy little black dress and I want to add some shine to my outfit. What a fun accessory to own when you can use it with a variety of outfits!

Designer grocery bags seem to be a trend these days. It’s so funny, that a bag I’ve seen my whole life is now being made in leather and made to look fashionable. Every time I go the grocery store I always get the items I’ve purchased put in a plastic bag. The very plastic bags I use to put more garbage in when I get home and then off to the garbage can they go.
I’ve seen quite a few designer grocery bags lately but my favorite has to be the Maison Martin Margiela “Studded” Grocery Bag. I’ll be honest, the studs are what sold me! The studs kind of kill that grocery bag look and give it more of an stylish edge. I could see myself carrying this bag anywhere not just to the grocery store.

This odd handbag silhouette is nowhere near being called a classic, but apparently more than one designer house digs the oversized, trapezoid-ish tote bag look. They’re both black, edgy, and somehow remind me of a giant fortune cookie, but who exactly came up with this concept first?
The Grant Large Nylon Hobo is one of the latest totes to hit the L.A.M.B scene. A puffy nylon silhouette is held together by an interwoven leather handle and decorated with vertical zippered pockets up front. Prior to L.A.M.B’s release, Maison Martin Margiela had this idea printed on their sketchpads first. Their version of the oversized Leather Slouchy Hobo lacks zippers up front (they’re actually built onto its sides instead), and features a sturdier silhouette; a more defined braided shoulder strap and cool tassel detailing.

Something really caught my eye today while I was browsing around the Net-A-Porter website. I want you all to meet the Maison Martin Margiela Reflector-Embellished Leather Clutch! This is such an intriguing piece. From a distance, this rectangular clutch simply glistens with what appears to be a mosaic of ruby red stones. Wouldn’t that look gorgeous paired with a little black dress? But wait just a minute! There is definitely more here than meets the eye! That’s when I read the words “reflector-embellished” again.
