Is anyone familiar with Marie Turnor? I had never heard of this designer before. However, when my fellow blogger Marissa wrote about a piece from this designer (The Lunch Bag), I instantly became intrigued. So I decided to do a little investigating of my own. Marie Turnor is the brainchild of Beth Goodman, a lingerie designer who began her career in New York. Later she moved to LA to became a stylist. Then in 2009, she decided to launch an accessories line based in California. The line takes inspiration from mundane objects like envelopes and paper bags. It was these simple designs that caught my eye!

When I was in grade school my Mom always packed my lunch. Most of the time I had a lunch box, usually pink themed, but if it was dirty I would always see my lunch in a brown bag every morning. Whenever my lunch was in a brown paper bag, I would always find little notes she would write on it. By the time I got to High School, I refused to take a lunch box and everyday I would put my food in a brown bag. To this day, I still use brown bags to work when I;m not carrying anything that needs to be kept cold.
The Marie Turnor Accessories The “Lunch” Clutch made me laugh out loud! It instantly brought me back to my school days and I sure wish my lunch box looked like that when I was younger. Mint is one of my favorite colors and I would use this clutch non-stop if I owned it. Who knew a lunch box inspired clutch could look so cute and fashionable?
