Forever21 Does the Mulberry Emmy Handbag
Uh-hu. Looks like Forever21 is back to their old ways, by producing lines of clothing and handbags that obviously share strong similarities and characteristics. Same exterior and interior pockets and zippers, post-man style lock detailing, and all the little hardware features are identical.
Let’s compare some more shall we…

> Mulberry Emmy handbag is the original in design and created with textured oak-colored leather. Price of the leather Emmy will set you back hefty $1,167
Side Note: Follow the leader? Forever21 better be careful, they don’t want Mulberry to follow after Diane von Furstenberg and sue for copyright infringement.

IDENTICAL! Holy smokes! Every detail is identical. Its like a mirror image.
Mulberry? I had no idea that forever21 replicated their designs. Whenever I think of f21 I get the image of marc jacobs and dvf patterns, never really mulberry.
Cheese balllllll.
Well this is sad, but I dont see mulberry going after forever21 anytime soon. Most likely Marc Jacobs will be the next to file a suit.
The Mulberry is my favorite :) the other one looks cheap.
i went to f21 yesterday to check out the bag. The faux leather material looks horrendous. It looks so cheap and the color’s hue looks lost in it. I think the web image of the bag looks much better than the real life reality of it.
The only thing I can say is that f21 may have tried to copy the mulberry bag, but the real thing is too hard for them to replicate. there’s a certain “realness” to the bag that f21 really cannot copy.
I hate it when the cheap loser brands copy styles of prestigious ones.
Obviously they are not willing to spend the dough to hire real designers, so I hope they get sued off their chairs.
I carried the F21 version of this bag for about a year before I traded it for a Coach bag… It was really cute! And the leather is fake, but it’s softer and less stiff than the mulberry. I also perfer the F21 color because it’s Orangey-er which goes with more of my clothing. The real one looks like it’s more suitable for the…elderly! ;) Anyway, I’m trying to get another F21 style of this bag… I’m looking everywhere! Thanks!
