Accessories for Prom: Evening Bags and More!

Accessories for Prom- Evening Bags and More!
Oh my gosh, I cannot believe prom is almost here! I was pretty much unaware of the fact that it is now March until I stumbled across display after display of prom dresses at the mall the other day. Where has the time gone? Oh well, it was actually nice seeing all of the pretty prom dresses for this year. It brings back some fond memories for me. Hehe… I was even tempted to try some on. You know, just for fun! And I hear short prom dresses (like the one pictured above) are in this year. Not only are they super cute, but also super easy on the wallet. I bet many of the mothers I saw out shopping with their daughters were delighted to see these less expensive styles. But all of this reminiscing about the good ol’ days got me to thinking about (you guessed it) accessories. After all, every girl needs the right accessories to complete her dream look for prom. So I thought it would be fun to write a blog post about accessories for prom, just for all you high school gals out there! Below you’ll find some of my favorites. But don’t worry, they too are easy on the wallet. There’s nothing here that’s over $50! Enjoy!

I wonder how tall those shoes are. My date is a little shorter than me and I don’t want to tower over him. And I love that headband!

Does that Jessica McClintock Bow Clutch come in other colors besides the teal? My dress is purple with a little bit of blue and it just wouldn’t match. Does it come in a black or maybe even a bright yellow or something? hehe

Hi, I’m going to prom this year and I just wanted to say that I really like the accessories you picked, except for the mermaid teal one (lolz). Also I like the black accessories the most because my dress is purple. Now I jut have to pick which. I’m leaning more towards the Jessica McClintock pleated purse because that’s the same brand as my dress and I think that they would really go well.

These are very cute clutches. I’m way past prom days, come to think of it, I don’t even think I had a purse for the event! If I could time travel back, I would pick the Steve Madden Dalia Clutch!

I love that headband. I’m going over to nordstroms today to check it out, and mostlikely get. It’s so pretty and I’m sure I’ll wear it after prom as well.

I love Prom . I had spent months preparing for that day. From my dress, shoe makeup etc everything I had planned well in advance. Luckily I have an elder sis who was experienced and help look my best that day.
