Barbara Bui Rose Satchel Purse
I totally admire any framed leather satchel. I might as well say that the satchel is my favorite style of handbags. I ran into this pretty structured bag by Barbara Bui today, it’s called the Rose bag. If you don’t recognize Bui’s style, Barbara Bui likes to combine and add elegance with a rock-and-roll-ish look to her designs. The combination of these two forms of style can appeal to most contemporary women of today.

In reference to the Rose Bag, it has so many details that I look for in a great handbag. Pleats in between the handles, gold plated hardware, feet to prevent scuffing, a detachable shoulder strap, and suede lining are just a few key details found on the Rose. You might wonder, why that name? Well, in its description, it states the bag was named after the rose colored pebbled leather it carries.

What do ladies think about the Rose Bag? Overall, I hold nothing but a positive opinion over this bag. But with a price tag of $1840 and my student budget, I feel like I can get any other elegant leather satchel for a couple of hundred dollars less, such as, a classic and contemporary Marc Jacobs bag!
