Eric Javits Mini Squishee Star
Anyone have a pool party or any other sun events planned soon? A couple of more days until my Spring Break officially kicks in as I’m anticipating some rest and relaxation under the warm South Padre Island sun. Accessory wise I would say I’m ready, although I’m content with using last seasons beach bag for now, it sure doesn’t hurt to see what’s new in the world of designer cruise and S/S collections.
One adorable piece that caught my eye is the Mini Squishee Star by Eric Javits, a bag that’s as cute as the name it carries.
This mini happens to be the smallest version of the Squishee line, a collection of finely assembled straw handbags. The Mini Squishee Star stand out from its larger parent tote with its interwoven straw in chain strap, its flap closure and of course, that adorable starfish detail that adds an instant tropical feel to this handbag.
What Eric Javits has applied to his straw handbags that stand out from your typical straw bag is an enhancement of bold solid and striped colors. This mini features four different versions to choose from and I’m still debating on which one would make my pick.

I have a hat by this designer. I didn’t know they made bags too. I’m going to have to run over to Saks and check them out.

The striped is definitely the best as it has the most nautical zeal! Super cute for just a straw bag.
