Free People Rice Paper Beach Totes
Warmer days are soon approaching us all and in my area, spring breakers will be arriving in a matter of weeks to catch some South Padre Island, TX sun. The time to update my beach wear has come; a few items on my shopping list includes: a bathing suit, flip flops, sunnies, and of course, a new beach tote.
I found one very attractive beach tote over at FreePeople (dot com). Besides the artistic designs imprinted on the tote and the variety of colors you can choose from, I was drawn to the recycled theme of this collection. The material of choice happens to be sturdy rice paper, prepared by recycled plastics, storage bags, detergents and grains. I like how you not only get the product, but a good feeling of doing your part to help reduce waste by putting it to use all over again.
If your interested in a one of a kind piece, as every beach tote varies in colors and a slight size difference. Choose your pick from white, red, green or yellow, all sporting different designs and for $38 each. They’re unique, cute and available at: Free People Clothing Boutique

I couldn’t see myself at the beach with this, but it’s a nice idea by free people. An organic beach bag.
I say PASS, just because I have no idea what it says? What language is that?
Great post! I had no idea that free people makes bags. I love their tanks and tees..
I love that its made out of organic material. It seems like that trend died off last year.
Nay for me.
I was thinking more of an eco-tote. It would be cute for the beach as welll though :)
I have found the perfect eco shopper tote!
This would be really cute for a beach bag.
Can someone translate? lol. What does it say?
Very cute idea. Plus I love how it’s only $38!
