Free People Rice Paper Beach Totes

Free People Rice Paper Beach Totes
Warmer days are soon approaching us all and in my area, spring breakers will be arriving in a matter of weeks to catch some South Padre Island, TX sun. The time to update my beach wear has come; a few items on my shopping list includes: a bathing suit, flip flops, sunnies, and of course, a new beach tote.

I found one very attractive beach tote over at FreePeople (dot com). Besides the artistic designs imprinted on the tote and the variety of colors you can choose from, I was drawn to the recycled theme of this collection. The material of choice happens to be sturdy rice paper, prepared by recycled plastics, storage bags, detergents and grains. I like how you not only get the product, but a good feeling of doing your part to help reduce waste by putting it to use all over again.

I couldn’t see myself at the beach with this, but it’s a nice idea by free people. An organic beach bag.
