Handbag Giveaway: Jenny Yuen Sherlock
Up and coming handbag designer Jenny Yuen is a fresh name to the purse industry, and has already came out with a handful of classic, chic, very wearable designs, worthy of every occasion. If you haven’t heard of her yet, I guarantee you’ll be hearing more about this designer in the near future.

Her handbags are known for their utilitarian designs, being modeled after briefcases and doctor bags. On her website, she says her inspiration include the glamorous vintage train-cases and suitcases of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s.

After earning her BFA in painting and sculpture at Boston University’s School for Fine Arts and honed her skills for sewing and patternmaking at Parsons School of Design. She landed positions at Jill Stuart, Twinkle by Wenlan, Michael Kors, Anna Sui, and Craig Robinson. One of her most notable works as a handbag designer was when she worked with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami & Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton and provided some of the inspiration behind his “Eye-Love” and “Cherry Blossom” collections.

And now you have the fabulous chance to scaore a bag by this designer! Up for grabs is the Sherlock, in fabulous plum!

I would give this to my good friend. She´s in the early months of pregnancy and feels rotten and unattractive most of the time. I think she´d really appreciate.

I try to be especially kind during the holiday season.
