Ikat Boho Sacks

You know… I had thought canvas boho sacks were dead and gone. But recently, I have been seeing them floating around town and they seem to be gaining popularity with the younger crowd again. When it comes to handbags in general though, I am more of a leather gal. But these Ikat Boho Sacks that I found over at Free People are so darn cute, I just might stray away from my typical preferences. Perhaps not as an everyday handbag though. I was thinking more along the lines of a beach bag or shopping tote. I love the bucket shape and the wooden bead detailing. And I really like all the different colors the Ikat Boho Sack comes in! I am especially drawn to the red, white, and light blue bag shown in the picture above (second one from the right).

It would be perfect for a day of fun in the sun on the Fourth of July! But the best news is that these cute sacks retail for only $68 each. And for that price, you might find yourself wanting to buy more than one! So maybe one for the beach AND one for use as a shopping tote?

Looks like a market tote. Very cute.

I have this tote in blue. I wore it everyday when I was living in Haiti.

It’s cute, but would I really wear it? It’s a bit too casual for NY.

I like them, but not for that much.
    Why?
In one of my classes at the AI we made totes that look identical to these. Not very hard at all.

Love the different color options. My favorite is the yellow.
