Introducing Muratori Handbags

Introducing Muratori Handbags
I don’t know about you, but I always get super excited whenever a new handbag designer hits the scene. I just love creative new ideas. And, being the environmentalist that I am, I especially love creative new ideas that come about in an eco-friendly manner. That is why I am so proud to present to you Muratori Designs (Luxury… with the World in Mind)! The company was founded by Julie Berard, who was able to align her love of fashion with her respect for nature in order to bring us a unique collection of luxury handbags. So not only are these handbags gorgeous, but they are made by a company that is environmentally conscious as well!

I do want to stress, however, that Muratori handbags are not vegan (like so many other eco-friendly handbags are). Instead, the company utilizes vegetable-tanned, chrome-free leathers. The production process for these leathers is much less harmful to the environment than other leathers. In addition, the linings of these handbags are made of either organic cotton or hemp. But it is also the little things that this company does to lessen their carbon footprint that I think are really cool. Whether it’s using only high efficiency light bulbs or purchasing electricity from renewable green energy sources, they are doing everything they can to help protect the environment. And, as if all of that wasn’t enough, Muratori also has a handbag recycling program!

So I am really encouraging everyone out there to check out these new Muratori handbags. And with Earth Day just around the corner, these beautiful bags are that much more tempting. Below you will find what the young company currently has to offer. I hope you will take the time to check them out! Enjoy!

Introducing Muratori Designs - Petal Hobo
Petal Hobo
This lovely piece was inspired by Julie’s daughters who love to play with flower petals in the garden. Each petal is individually arranged and hand-stitched. It would be the perfect go-to bag for those casual summer months!

Muratori Designs Twiggy Satchel

This satchel somewhat resembles a doctor’s bag. However, it is also very fresh and modern-looking. It would be perfect for either work or play.

Introducing Muratori Designs Jayne Satchel

A timeless classic, this satchel has a fun little added twist — studded tassels. It would also be perfect for either work or play. It certainly is roomy enough!

Muratori doesn’t just design for women, they also make some nice men’s work bags. This sleek messenger bag would be perfect for the office!

These bags are so pretty, but so expensive!

What I first attracted me is how original these designs are. There’s always new bags designers popping up, but all their stuff looks the same. These are different and very gorgeous. What I also enjoy about this line is these bags are environmentally conscious.

Are they going to add accessories to the line as well? Like wallets and such?

I am absolutely in love with the Petal Hobo. I have seen many handbags but this one is just CUTE. Do you know by any chance if it comes in other maybe pastel colors and where could I get it?

I am in love with that petal hobo. It is beautiful. I have a MK handbag in bone, and I wear it all the time no matter what the season. So, I can see myself wearing this one all of the time.

The bags aren’t really me, but I really like that mens messenger for my hubby. The design is so clean and simple, very classic.

Where can I find these beautiful bags locally? I’m in Portland. I searched around on their site and couldn’t find anything.

Are all her bags made with pebbled leather? I love the Petal, but I have to have pebbled leather. I have 4 little ones and I’m always on the go. My delicate leather bags always get a scratch before I take them out of the package.

Btw, thanks for sharing this news about this new designer!!

I love the Petal, but the hobo style is just not practical for me. I need at least a tote style to carry all my work needs. Laptop, files, wallet, cosmetic case, notebooks, water bottle, etc. I know I’m not minimal. lol. The Petals are just so pretty though.

Thanks for the news. I wonder when they will be available at a boutique near me. This sounds like an amazing ecofriendly brand, and there are not many of those out there.
