The Doble Bag by ginette etc.
A new collection of ginette etc.. handbags is now available over at Shop Bop. The designer, Frederique Dessemond, has some very interesting styles to offer. Pictured above is just one of these new handbags. It is called the Doble Bag. Most ginette etc.. handbags are constructed of ultra distressed leather, and the Doble Bag is no exception. It is available in two colors. The first is a metallic pewter color called Martini and the second is a glazed black called Caviar. Both colors offer an interesting deconstructed look, complete with a gold stud accents and a weathered chain strap.
So what does everyone think of the Doble Bag by ginette etc…? Personally, I think this bag is alright. However, it is far from being unique. In fact, it reminds me of another bag out there that folds over. Foley + Corinna’s Desert Messenger Bag, anyone? Nope, this bag isn’t exactly special. But I suppose it might look pretty sweet with one of those leather vests that are supposed to be hot for fall.
The Doble Bag by ginette etc.. measures 12″ W x 15″ H (11″ H when folded). When doubled over, the chain strap offers a 9″ drop. And the interior features several multifunction pockets. The Doble Bag retails for $325..

Not a fan of this one.. I think I will wait until it’s on sale.
I think it’s cute, but a bit on the expensive side.
I read you guys everyday. You are the source. But this one is so not to youre usual standards. I think it’s ugly. It looks like a bag made by a design student.
