Charlotte Olympia Perfume Perspex Clutch

Charlotte Olympia Perfume Perspex Clutch
I have developed a fondness for Charlotte Olympia lately. Why? Well, that is a very good question. But it’s also a difficult one to answer. To be honest, I’m not really sure what the allure is. For some reason, I just feel drawn to these unusual pieces. Perhaps it’s simply because I like to see something new. Let’s face it, Charlotte Olympia’s designs are not something you see every day. Plus I’m excited because this latest season was inspired by the city of love — Paris! However, these pieces aren’t inspired by what I would call your typical Paris icons. Take a look at the Charlotte Olympia Perfume Perspex Clutch and you will see what I mean.

Charlotte Olympia Croissant Clutch

When I first saw this clutch the first thing that blurted out of my mouth was, “ohhh this looks like a Croissant.” Not to be mean of course, that’s what this clutch looks like to me. Then I read the description and saw that this bag was in fact made to replicate this famous French crescent-shaped breakfast puff pastry, in gold form. I personally think this clutch is delicious gorgeous and worth taking a double glance.

Aquatalia by Marvin K ‘Fad’ Clutch

I’m a firm believer in that every girl should own a clutch in their closet. Whether you’re going out for brunch, after work drinks with friends or out on Date Night, a classic clutch is your best accessory.

One clutch I have particularly become drawn to is this Aquatalia by Marvin K ‘Fad’ clutch, so when I was asked to review and give my honest opinion I was extremely excited.

Made in Italy and offered in the contemporary handbag price range, the craftsmanship of this clutch is exquisite. High impact ultra-glossy shades of navy and beige panels color-blocked with a hint of exotic textured emerald green come together on this clutch.

Besides the beautiful detailing of this clutch, the features are worth taking note of. What’s great about this bag is that it comes with a removable shoulder strap, for those days you feel like going hands-free. When not in use leave it tucked away inside and if you change your mind 30 minutes into the date, pop it out, clip it on and whala, a shoulder bag. The size is also very generous. Spacious enough for all your daily essentials this clutch measures in at 10″ width x 5″ height x 1.5″ depth, which is a perfect fit for a wallet, mini touch-up cosmetic pouch, cellphone.

Judith Leiber Hot Fudge Ice Cream Sundae Minaudiere

Judith Leiber Hot Fudge Ice Cream Sundae Minaudiere
As I’ve stated repeatedly in my blog posts I’m kind of obsessed with evening bags and Judith Leiber is one of my favorite designers for them. No, I don’t any Judith Leiber clutches but I promise you that one day I will have a collection of them! They are so unique and I firmly believe every woman can find at least one Judith Leiber clutch she loves. There is literally a bag for everything! I personally like anything girly or pink so I fell in love with the “Hot Fudge Ice Cream Sundae” Minaudiere. Not completely girly because anyone can love ice cream but it is pretty unique to look at it. I would expect to see someone eating ice cream while I’m out not carrying a sundae as a bag.

Tory Burch Robinson Spectator Mini Cross Body Bag

Tory Burch Robinson Spectator Mini Cross Body Bag
Spring is here, which can only mean pastel colors are in and I love it! Pink and mint are literally everywhere in the fashion world right now and I’m in heaven because of it. Pink and mint are two of my favorite colors so the more we see it the happier I am. I do wish I owned a mint handbag or another pink one. At the moment, I have the Christian Dior “Pochette” style bag from the Girly collection that debuted quite a while ago. It’s old, in great condition and I still love it but I would love a new pink bag! When I saw the Tory Burch Robinson “Spectator” Mini Cross Body Bag my mouth dropped. I absolutely adore Tory Burch and this bag is adorable! It’s little, pink and perfect for Spring.

Summer Bag Trend: The Straw Tote

Summer Bag Trend: The Straw Tote
Well… I am certainly disappointed. The first day of spring has come and gone, yet here I am wondering when the heck spring is actually going to get here. And to think that silly groundhog said we would have only 4 more weeks of winter. Since then, I have counted 7 weeks. It has been cold and snowy almost that entire time. You lied to me Mr Groundhog! So in an effort to cheer myself up, I thought I would take a look at some warm weather handbags — particularly, straw totes! They are perfect for a sunny day at the beach or a casual trip to your local farmers market. Plus they tend to be more on the affordable side. So you won’t feel so bad at the end of the season if your tote was loved a little too much and is beginning to unravel. Personally, I would prefer that over an expensive white leather handbag because I would stress so much over keeping it clean! So if you are looking to lift your spirits and give yourself something to look forward to using this summer, then check out these lovely straw totes featured below. The selection is just starting to fill out so these are just some of my favorites so far!

M Missoni Graphic Zigzag Wristlet

Missoni Graphic Zigzag Wristlet
In the world of mini, there are two things I have noticed lately. First, wristlets are still holding a strong presence. And second, the canteen-style bag is making an apparent comeback. While these things are great by themselves, I have to admit I am intrigued by the idea of a round wristlet. I have seen them in the past, but for some reason this idea feels new. Perhaps it’s just the fact that I haven’t seen one in awhile. The round shape is canteen-like, but since we’re talking about a wristlet here it’s even smaller than a mini bag. So when I saw the M missoni Graphic Zigzag Wristlet, I thought it would be fun to give it a second look.
