M Missoni Graphic Zigzag Wristlet

Missoni Graphic Zigzag Wristlet
In the world of mini, there are two things I have noticed lately. First, wristlets are still holding a strong presence. And second, the canteen-style bag is making an apparent comeback. While these things are great by themselves, I have to admit I am intrigued by the idea of a round wristlet. I have seen them in the past, but for some reason this idea feels new. Perhaps it’s just the fact that I haven’t seen one in awhile. The round shape is canteen-like, but since we’re talking about a wristlet here it’s even smaller than a mini bag. So when I saw the M missoni Graphic Zigzag Wristlet, I thought it would be fun to give it a second look.

Deux Lux Empire State Denim Clutch

Deux Lux Empire State Clutch
This adorable little clutch is the perfect accessory to finish off your sweet punk summer look! I love the light blue combined with the gold hardware. It’s a lovely color combination that would look beautiful from spring to summer.

The Empire State is a light blue slouchy style clutch topped off with polished gold pointy stud cones. One thing I was taken a little back by when reading the description is that this clutch is not made of leather – it’s made of denim. I wouldn’t say I’m the biggest fan of the fabric look. I’ve never owned a denim purse in my life (although a huge of the Louis Vuitton Denim Collection) I just don’t think this is something I would ever wear.  Without a doubt, if this was made with leather (or even faux) I would have to get one, because honestly wouldn’t this clutch look 100x’s more amazing if it was made out of some lux material?

Mulberry Bags in Bright Apricot for Spring Summer 2013

mulberry bright apricot
Seems like a lot of designers are dressing their bags in eye catching bold hues for the spring / summer 2013 season, but here is Mulberry opting for something a little bit more muted. I think the apricot shade is very classic and ultra-feminine. The color palettes you can pair with this shade are endless. Also I would say you could totally get away with wearing this color beyond the warmer summer seasons!

Emilio Pucci Dragon Embroidered Satchel

Emilio Pucci has been off my radar lately. I don’t really know why. Perhaps I was just tired of seeing the same old “Pucci-print” over and over again. Don’t get me wrong, the classic prints are nice. I think I just got a little bored with them since they seemed to be everywhere a little while back. But now it looks like Pucci is trying to do something different for a change. One piece that particularly caught my eye was the Emilio Pucci Dragon Embroidered Satchel!

Saint Laurent Y Ligne Mini Pochette Crossbody Bag

When it comes to fashion I love classy, simple and sophisticated looking things. I’m the type of girl that always dresses up even if I’m just going to the grocery store. Some say I’m weird but is there anything wrong with wanting to be put together at all times? I love my hair and makeup to always be done and heels are a must. When I think of classy designer brands, Yves Saint Laurent immediately comes to mind. However, the fashion house changed their name so now it’s just Saint Laurent. I currently do now own anything by Saint Laurent but I sure do love the Y Ligne Mini Pochette Crossbody Bag.

Jessica Alba Style: Gryson IIIBeCa Duane Street Messenger Bag

Jessica Alba Joy Gryson IIIBeCa Duane Street Messenger Bag
We all know the handbag brand Gryson, but did you know about IIIBeCa? The handbag line was launched about a year ago by Joy Gryson. What I love about IIIBeCa bags is that not only are they affordable and incredibly chic but a portion of the proceeds are donated to three NYC nonprofits: 9/11 Memorial (911memorial.org), Family Focus Adoption Services (familyfocusadoption.org) and Memorial Sloan-Kettering (mskcc.org). Seriously, how cool is that?

Vince Camuto Cork Horn Clutch

Vince Camuto Cork Horn Clutch
Today is the first day of Spring and colorful fashion is taking over the fashion world with a vengeance and I don’t mind one bit! Which may I add is kind of odd because I’ve been in a black and white phase for a few years but I guess my eyes need to see some color now. So far in the past couple months I’ve bought pastel dresses, shirts with lots of floral prints and bright colored blazers. I’m addicted to color right now and I suppose that’s why I love the Vince Camuto “Cork” Horn Clutch. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a cork handbag before let alone one with colorful splashes all over it and the horn clasp really catches your eye! This would definitely be a fun bag to own because not only does it bring some brightness to your collection but it’s pretty unique too!

Mulberry Scalloped Flower Bag

Spring is almost here! Who is in the mood for a little Flower Power? Florals are, of course, a given in the fashion world this time of year. While I do like florals, I have a harder time accepting them on handbags. Floral prints just look better on clothing, in my opinion. But I was thinking that perhaps handbags don’t need to feel neglected here. In fact, I think I have found the perfect compromise! Introducing the Mulberry Scalloped Flower Bag!
