No you shouldn’t. They will bleed into each other. So if you have a red patent leather bag and a purple patent leather bag. If they lay against each other,especially for a while,then you’ll find your red bag with purple on it and the purple with red on it.

One more important thing – when not being used, your patent bag needs to be stored so its not touching any other items.
The patent can “peel off” and end up on something its touching for too long. Learned this the hard way!

I don’t own any patent leather handbags. I’ve always been scared
of the easily scratched rumor about the bags.

Can’t say that I’ve ever had any issues with patent handbags,
shoes are another story though.

I am always so careful with my patent shoes. Never store them touching.
For handbags, I’m careful with them also, but shoes are just the worst
at getting scuffs.
