Versace Bag in a Bag Shopper
Versace’s Pre-Fall 2008 collection is almost here! There are several styles available over at Nordstroms for Pre-Order, including this two-for-one special pictured above. Meet the Versace Bag in a Bag Shopper! Its a bag within a bag, kind of like when you get a free gift when you buy cosmetics!
Now they say that this is a bag within a bag, but I also think its like having 3 bags all in one. There’s the little dome-shaped shoulder bag that can be worn on its own and there’s the larger tote that would just be big and open and smooshy. But when you put the two together, you get a structured satchel with the combined features of the shoulder bag and the tote. What I also think is pretty cool about this bag is how they mixed soft, supple leather with croco-embossed metallic leather and patent leather. This may be a black bag, but the mixture of finishes and textures really brings a lot of interest to the look of the bag. The only think I’m iffy about is the large silvertone plaque/buckle with Versace stamped on it. I think the style would look better with a smaller, more subtle clasp. But overall, I think it bag is great!

Are you kidding me?!! $3,K + for this bag? What’s so special about it? Sure a black handbag is classic, especially if it’s by a designer, but this is just overpriced. Also that mini pouch is just like the free ones they give you at the cosmetic department. No way would I buy this bag just because of that little extra.
