Yves Saint Laurent Y-Mail Tote

Yves Saint Laurent Y-Mail Tote
The new Y-Mail Tote by Yves Saint Laurent, with it’s hand written address and stamp detailing, presents a great creative take on the designer signature label. Previously, Jennifer had written about the Yves Saint Laurent Minaudiere Letter Satin Clutch, which also features the same appearance of a piece of mail. But anyways, I’m really liking this new trend set by YSL because it’s unique and unlike many other bags. I think every detail from the handwritten address to the YSL signature stamp was very original and imaginative. It really looks like a pretty golden package.

The new Mail Tote features an open top, which is something I’m not a fan of as I prefer my bags to close securely. There are also two top handles for carrying over the arm. This bag comes in soft metallic gold toned leather with black letter detailing on the front. I love metallics on bags and also the combination of gold and black is wonderful. What I also like about this purse is the tone of the black lettering and how it isn’t bold. Overall, I think this is a wonderful addition to any collection because it is unique and not a piece that everyone will own.

Okay the clutch is a cute idea, but this tote just looks weird. Something looks off to me..

This tote is so cool. I just wish the straps were a bit longer, like long enough to be worn over the shoulder.
