Purse Trend: Black with a touch of Gold
Have you gone purse shopping lately and noticed the increased number of black and gold bags? They’re everywhere. From online to instore, this trend is all over the place for this up-and-coming fall season.

Personally, I’m more of a black and platinum/silver type of girl, so I doubt I would rock one of these bags. Well except for the Chloe Gold Bow Clutch. That one is just simply adorable.

What do you guys think? Is this black with a touch of gold trend something you crave?

As seen in Vogue Magazine for bags to have for fall, it’s the Anya Hindmarch Bogart Bag. Well I think this one is a lot more appealing than what she has been coming out with lately, uhh, “Girls Need Bags� – “I’m Not a Plastic Bag.� No words, a nice improvement.

This shiny patent bag is trimmed with a gold-ish-bronze metallic panel detailing, accessorized with matching gold hardware, designed with feet on the base (good to have), decorated with the designers embossed plaque, and finished off with a secret pocket on back (by your bod).

The newly released Pierre Hardy purse has already been linked to Cameron Diaz. She owns my favorite version, the soft gold with silver trim ( *beautiful* ). This one, which is supposed to be the latest trend, is the black patent duffle-style (not really a duffle, its small) unstructured purse, which features thick yellowish-gold thin trim, multiple convenient exterior pockets for easy access, and a roomy interior.

The ex-OC star is not nearly followed around by the paparazzi as much as before, but here she is, out-and-about with one of her friends shopping for intimates at the upscale lingerie shop La Perla on Rodeo Drive. Spotted: The world’s most famous porn star Jenna Jameson was snapped by the photographers showing off her new Zac Posen woven clutch at the Vienna Life Ball in Vienna, Austria.

The Zac Posen woven clutch came out a couple seasons ago and can still be discovered on many online fashion departments stores (as well as in store). Right now at this very second there is one sitting on the eluxury site where it carries the price tag of $950. The body of the bag features smooth grained ruched leather sides with an intricate woven geometric leather detail racing down the center. The top of the bag features a flap closure secured by a double leather cord with oversized tassels. This oversized clutch also comes with a detachable weighted silvertone ball charm that twists open – looks like a weapon to me. The interior reveals suede lining with one super long zipped pocket. Measurements of this oversized evening purse are 11″x 6″x 1.5″

Welcome Zac Posen to being one of my new favorite handbag designer of the season. I love your bags so much that I decided to put you under your own category, rather than “Other Designers” you have your own special designer spot here on Bag Bliss (*aww*). The sales director for Zac Posen, Stephanie Cozzi stated that “The Zac Posen woman wants to feel like she is carrying a future collectible when she has our bag on her arm.” His bags could be a collectable (sure do have a classic look to them) but it still pretty early to tell since this designer first introduced his very own Zac Posen collection on the spring 2004 runway show. I want, I mean need one! Especially this Zac Posen vintage like framed bag that’s decorated with chain that swoops down to the Zac Posen signature name plate, by far this bag is my favorite currently on the store shelves.

Zac Posen | Beatrice Quilted Bag | View!
The designer handbag has been identified! A while back I posted in tBF the pictures of handbag toting celebrities Lindsay Lohan and Beyonce Knowles with this tote and I had no idea of what bag it was. Well, I had a strong idea that it was by Zac Posen but I couldn’t locate the bag anywhere online, until today when I was browsing Neiman Marcus – lo and behold I discovered the Zac Posen Beatrice Quilted Bag. I know (I know), I always say that I hate tassels, and all that dangling stuff that you just want to snip off. Well my view has completely changed for this bag. Right now this tassel bag is available in black or white for the retail price of $1,450.
