Drawstring Bucket Bag Trend

Vintage Louis Vuitton Epi Noe

Louis Vuitton Epi Noe
In case you missed it, there were a bunch of new Louis Vuitton and Chanel handbags added over the weekend on ShopBop. The seller is WGACA (what goes around comes around), a brand that specializes in reselling previously owned luxury handbags. One of the beautiful bags that caught my eye and I’ve grown to love over the years is the Noe carryall in a lovely blue Epi leather.

Deal Alert: Alexander Wang Diego in Stone

Last year I bought the Alexander Wang Rocco in this vanilla white “Stone” color and absolutely loved it for the first couple days, then color transfer started to become an issue. Dark denim jeans being the main offender. And rather than deal with the every-other-day cleaning maintenance I exchanged it for the dark chocolate Rocco. So be warned, dark denims and white bags are not a good combination. However this is a white bag, and like most white bags they are meant to be worn during the summer months (unless winter white is your thing) so if you’re pairing this bag with a maxi dress or skirt, color transfer really isn’t going to be that big of an issue.

Balenciaga Pompon

I fell hard for the Pompon over the summer. I wanted this bag. What changed my mind was the simple fact that this bag is unfortunately not available with a crossbody strap. Clutch, shoulder bag, handbag, etc my style is definitely more on the side of cross-body.

Besides that little feature, this bag is totally beautiful. I absolutely adore the drawstring style, to me it has a summer-vibe to it, but that’s not to say you can’t rock this bag well during the colder months.

House of Harlow Raine Bag

Remember when pouch style bags were the hot new thing? They were literally everywhere and in every style imaginable. A large majority of handbag designers were on the bandwagon too. It was crazy! So what do I think about pouch style bags now that the trend has died down a bit? I still love them! And I think I would be less wary to carry one now since the market is no longer saturated with them. That’s why the bag you see here caught my eye. Introducing the House of Harlow 1960 Raine Bag!

Alexander Wang Mini Golf Bag

Alexander Wang is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers. I pretty much love everything the designer brand comes out with and now I’m drooling over the Mini “Golf” Bag. Golf has always been one of my favorite sports. I’ve never played, so to speak, real golf before but I do love mini golf. If someone were to teach me how to play golf, I think I would love it! Plus I love that you can wear whatever you want on the golf course, so you know I would bring some high fashion out when playing.

The Alexander Wang Mini “Golf” Bag is adorable, stylish and literally looks like you can put a set of mini golf clubs inside it. I love the whole concept and design of this bag. I especially love how the front zip opens directly into the bag. Although, I’m not sure why the handles are detachable. Perhaps you can buy a shoulder strap from the company and if that’s the case that’s a pretty cool feature to have on the bag.

Cleobella Selma Bag

Anytime I hear the name “Selma”, I automatically think of Selma Hayek. Selma Hayek has always been a Latina that’s extremely proud of her heritage and where she comes from. She really is one of the actresses that embraces her Mexican roots and that’s pretty admirable of her.

When I think of Mexican fashion I think of dresses featuring colorful designs and flowers. Mexican fashion is one of a kind and when you see it, you instantly familiarize with it. The Cleobella “Selma” Bag reminded me of a Spanish style looking bag. Perhaps, that’s exactly what Cleobella had in mind hence the name “Selma”.

Tory Burch Claire Bucket Bag

Summer is here and it’s hot as ever. I live in Florida and it’s scorching hot outside. I love fashion, so I won’t sacrifice it for the sake of the heat. However, most people forget style when it becomes really hot and turn to flip flops, tank tops and clutches. Even during the evening they won’t dress up and wear really light clothes and carry hardly anything. Can’t say I blame them if I wasn’t a fashionista I would probably do the same. I often try to convince myself to be a little more casual in the Summer but my inner fashionista always makes me dress to kill.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Great Balls of Fire Bag

Seriously I can not believe this bag is in the sale section.. and for 30% off too! I love it’s petite drawstring style and that it’s a crossbody. This is one of those summer bags that I could totally see myself sporting while biking the streets or exploring the city on a casual summer day.

Tory Burch Moonstone Maisey Tote

I’m obsessing over this new addition to the Tory Burch family; greet the pebbled-leather Maisey Tote in Moonstone. The Maisey would make a fresh selection to your summer needs. With such a rich navy hue, it can most definitely be incorporated into your fall/winter wardrobe as well. No need for the usual stripes and whites of the season as the minimal gold toned hardware against the royal blue supports a unique nautical vibe.
