Jerome Dreyfuss Luciene Suede Fringe Bag
Jerome Dreyfuss is a designer that isn’t mentioned very often over at TBF. Oddly enough, however, this isn’t the first time I have featured the French designer in a blog post. His styles are often referred to as laid-back or relaxed. They are nonchalant, sometimes to the point of quirkiness. His use of supple leather and ultra-soft suede only serves to add to this effect. So it was no surprise when my gaze fell upon the handbag I have pictured here. Meet the Jerome Dreyfuss Luciene Suede Fringe Bag. No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you! Leopard print and fringe have been paired together in a single handbag. What I find interesting, however, is how the pouch on the front and the fringed panel are both detachable. So this bag can be worn three ways. Personally, though, I think the bag looks best without the pouch and fringe attached. This handbag is definitely something for the more eccentric person. Someone that is looking for something unique, even something a bit on the quirky side. This bag is something I personally would not buy for myself. And yet, for some reason, I find my eyes being drawn to it. Hmm… but perhaps that was what Jerome Dreyfuss had in mind.
The Jerome Dreyfuss Luciene Suede Fringe Bag is composed of haircalf, suede, and pebbled leather. It measures 10″ x 6.5″ x 3″ and it retails for $795. Find it at Shopbop.com.

I think Jerome Drefuss is such a wonderful designer.
I think this is really interesting, unlike anything I’ve seen before from any other designer. Just not something I would buy kwim?
This bag is kinda funky, lol.
I don’t really care for the fringe, but the other way of wearing it is cute… with just the pouch.
Ick. That’s all.
Not for me.
My little sis, shes like 13, would wear something like this.
But that price is not something our mom would spend.
I like the leopard print and the suede, but not so much the other colors.
I could see someone with an wild sense of style wearing this. Like what you said :)
Who is this designer? Are they new?
Call me odd, but I LOVE this bag.
Interesting concept. Not a bag that I would pick for me though.
I likie
I like the concept, mixing of materials, however I wouldn’t buy it.
Ooo, detachable.
You can dress it up or down, like Barbie!
I agree with perring. This bag is unique indeed, just not wearable for me.
