I’m not fond of crocodile accessories. To me, they’re not pretty, it’s not my thing but that’s just me. I currently do not own anything that is made of crocodile but who knows maybe one day that will change. I had a little but of a change of heart when I saw the Nancy Gonzalez “Cutout Overlay” Crocodile Tote. It doesn’t look like it’s totally crocodile, even though it is, and the asymmetrical design on the front of the bag is kind of cool looking! Nancy Gonzalez is the best designer, in my eyes, when it comes to crocodile accessories. No one quite does it like she does but of course that’s just my opinion.
What I love about this bag is that it’s perfect to carry all year long. The black on the bag makes it a great bag to carry during the Fall or Winter but the colorful pattern on the front of the bag makes it perfect for Spring and Summer. I also love that it has a zip closure to protect your belongs inside. That is an important feature to me, on any pricey handbag. Crocodile bags normally look tacky to me. They look like an animal was killed, shaped into a bag and then some designers charge over $20 grand for them. Nancy Gonzalez always has a way of making them look classy, elegant, unique and definitely stunning. This bag literally looks like a piece of art and I’m a huge fan of it.
This bag is a show stopper so whenever carrying it, I would keep your outfit simple. Sometimes it’s OK to take a break from looking stunning and let your bag shine instead.
You can purchase the “Cutout Overlay” at the Nancy Gonzalez x Neiman Marcus Boutique for $3,950.
