Rebecca Minkoff Cheetah Hobo

Rebecca Minkoff is trying something new! She has decided to jazz up some of her handbags with laser-etched designs. Most common are her Laser Slash pieces, which feature laser-etched vertical slashes. The design itself reminds me very much of the Romygold Biker Slash Tote, except it appears on some very familiar Minkoff styles including the Boyfriend and Morning After Mini. While these pieces are quite intriguing, nothing really caught my eye until I came across the Rebecca Minkoff Cheetah Hobo!

The pattern on this bag may be laser-etched, but those aren’t slashes! Nope, this adorable piece features a cheetah pattern instead! Well… actually, if you want to get technical about it, it’s really a leopard pattern. Cheetah spots do not come in a rosette pattern. What she is calling it though doesn’t really matter as long as it looks gorgeous! And it does! I really love the tone-on-tone etched out texture, it is such a unique way to display this exotic print.

More of a crossbody style than a hobo, the Rebecca Minkoff Cheetah Hobo would make a great casual style for the Spring and Summer months. It’s not quite boho and it’s not quite vintage, but I think it would fit in nicely with either look.

Isn’t this more of a leopard print? Wonder why she named it cheetah..

It IS a leopard print. Cheetah’s spots are all black while leopards have a spot in the middle.
