What’s fresh over at Fendi are these adorable Marshmallow Flap Bag’s. Since the moment I ran into them I knew these pieces were truly perfect for the lady who craves a great designer shoulder bag. Both carry this great silhouette resembling an oversized version of the infamous Fendi baguette hanging off a single shoulder strap.

In more detail, soft gathered pleats meet at the center of this shoulder bag where you can also find an oversized double F’s metal logo. Secured by a front flap opening and sealed shut by means of a snap closure allows quick access to your goods in a simple and stylish method. A classic interpretation of leather and chain can be found on this chain-link shoulder strap, which adds character and sophistication compared to your typical simple leather shoulder strap. I absolutely adore both classic leather and logo cotton jacquard versions and I can see how both would serve best in different occasions.

Although these shoulder bags are pleasant and stylish for years to come, I’m not too fond of the price tag at the moment. It seems to me that Fendi has been getting a bit more colorful lately. And when I say colorful, I mean a rainbow of pastels! In fact, just prior to me writing this post, my fellow blogger Deysa wrote about another rather colorful Fendi bag. This new pastel trend that’s going on is sort of out of character for Fendi. When they do color, it usually consists of brights (with the except of some pale pink bags here and there). I’m not saying that this is necessarily a bad thing. In fact, sometimes it’s nice when designers explore things that lie outside their normal realm.

Now speaking of colorful Fendi’s, here we have an interesting-looking bag that is definitely pastel! It’s called the Fendi Sequined Forever Boston Bag. To tell you the truth, I think the bag is kinda cute. The only problem is that it is definitely not something you could wear every day. And given the fact that this bag is rather small and chocked-full of sequins, it almost looks like an evening bag. What I find most interesting about this bag the signature canvas that lies beneath the layer of sequins. When you look at the bag straight-on, you can’t see the pattern. However, when you look at the bag from an angle, those familiar little F’s magically appear. Cool effect, huh?

The Fendi Sequined Forever Boston Bag is available in Pink or Yellow. It measures 9.5″ x 7″ x 6″ and features an adorable padlock that secures the zipper. Find it at FORZIERI, where it retails for $820.

The House of Fendi did it again; they created a roomy shopper bag like no other. Meet the Zucca Patent Leather Tote, an accessory that only a few gals can pull off, without looking tacky. I apologize to any fans of this piece, but I’d have to say this tote bag is definitely too busy to call classy. Made up of glossy patent leather sporting snake skin prints in a variety of hues, it looks rather cheap and definitely not Fendi standards. I dislike the actual finish, and the black patent trimmings don’t better this shopper in anyway. Most would call this shopper style practical for everyday wear, I would agree, but couldn’t Fendi have added at least some hardware for luxe purposes? Besides the cheesy prints it’s too simple and the 12” x 12” x 4” dimensions create an extra boxy shoulder bag that doesn’t look too comfy after all. More details include the 10” thin double flat shoulder straps, no closure, but a practical zipper divider can be found within the tote.

The Fendi Spy is back! That’s right, there’s no need to search deep ends for the infamous design, as it is now available for retail sale through Saks (dot com).

Remember the numerous amount of Spy’s Fendi designed, ranging from beads and crystals to fringe and fur? Well, this Spy arrives with the original concept in mind, meet the Vintage Leather Spy bag.

The classic appeal of the Spy bag can be found on this piece. Italian pebbled leather with the classic braided double handles and the nylon signature lining, all found within this satchel. I’m not too surprised at the fact that this Spy is only available in classic chocolate brown, such a common color, I assume that Fendi wants to see what great of a comeback the Spy will make amongst us Bagista’s. The Fendi Peek-A-Boo handbag comes in a variety of colors but the most gorgeous one, in my opinion, is the black patent. The gold and silver hardware really stick out on the black version much more so than that of the other colors the handbag is available in.
