The Fendi Secret Code F3 Satchel
Does anyone know what is going on with Fendi? For some reason, they have been coming out with some pretty goofy bags lately. Take the Secret Code F3 Satchel for example. Simple in design, but also very strange looking. It is called a satchel, presumably because of the handle on top, but it more resembles a small messenger bag with its flap closure and long detachable strap. The curvature of the top handle and the multicolored studs give this bag an Art Deco feeling. In fact, the more I look at it, the more I want to believe it belongs in a modern art museum somewhere. Maybe displayed under glass, where museum visitors can gaze upon it and wonder what the heck it’s supposed to be. Personally, I don’t think I could ever see myself sporting this bag. So Fendi, what IS it supposed to be?
The Fendi Secret Code F3 Satchel is available in blue (shown) or black. As you may have already noticed, Fendi has been overloading on the details when it comes to their bags lately. This one is no exception. The bag is constructed of soft suede and is accented by pebbled leather insets and topstitching detail. The metal studs are goldtone, silver, and gunmetal. It measures 12″ x 8″ x 4″ and it retails for $2,380 (YIKES!).
It’s available over at Saks.com.
